User Reviews
I don't understand how they went from such a fun and engaging game like Boneworks to this. It's an experiment that relies on mod creators to create content. It's Gary's Mod in VR if we didn't already have that exact thing. Absolutely not worth the full price (and no, being able to download the whole of Boneworks as a mod doesn't make it better.) In terms of the modding community it's pretty bare bones. You're looking at a 7/11 gas station, a shockingly competent DOOM moder, and a handful of random levels. Shoutout to the guy that keeps adding Wushu Island from wii sports resort. All in all I see no real reason to get this game as it's empty throughout. If it was $15 I would have enjoyed my time with it. $40 for a 6 hour campaign and an anemic mod community is an insult.
bonelab is almost completely worthless in every way without mods. With mods it is the most fun multiplayer game imaginable
mostly played bonelab on the quest, after a bit too many mods (like 150 or less) my game gets laggy so i resorted to this one cus it has better graphics and can handle many mods :D
This game is great. you can download mods from mod.io or get the code mods from somewhere else. i love it!
while long it lasted but one day i installed some mods and it wouldnt even boot up
base game is alright but with code mods like fusion it is worth the 20 bucks
i have never been more bored, games like hard bullet or blade and sorcery are significantly better, tho that is completely my opinion.
Fun if you like getting your hand stuck in a wall and bad climbing physics
I want to leave a good review for this game but I just can't. I bought it to mess around in the sandbox and that is the best part of this game. The mechanics are mostly fun as are the mods. However for some reason the devs force you to play through the insufferable campaign so you can get access to all the tools. The campaign is full of jank and bugs. Numerous times I've had to replay a level because something was broken. Like a certain red button at the end of a level that doesn't work. The climbing and platforming are incredibly frustrating. I ended up walking around 3 laps of go kart racing (so fun) as the driving is a joke. The whole things only lasts a few hours but my god what a slog to get through it. It seems like the devs are desperate to be quirky, cool and are aiming to be the next portal. I don't care. Just let me play the game how I want to play it. If I wanted to be forced into playing a campaign I would have purchased Boneworks. I probably never will now. So ba...
