The tag for this game absolutely should have contained RPG Maker. Seemed decent on the surface with story and game play. Not really my cup of tea, seems extremely short and balance is jacked up. I beat the game, and here is a quick summary: - decent music, don't know if it is from rpg maker or they made it -decent design (art) , don't know if it is from rpg maker or they made it Very short game, beat in about 4 hours -half of that was probably grinding to try to overcome the balance -level 15 cap -items are very limited, only 2 rings to choose from, 2 accessories, 4 or 5 pieces of armor and weapons. VERY SHORT game, not worth the money. Felt like a long demo at most. Did not know this was rpg maker crap. Feeling a bit ripped off. Will have to look closer at these games in the future. Save your money. ---------I will retry this when the new content releases in August. And update review accordingly------------- :)

Paladin Dream is a nice, simple game with interesting mechanics. I don't play too many RPGs that only feature one character, but this game did it well. The atmosphere is the best thing about it, including the custom music and glowing effects. Leaving the Abbey at the start and hearing the field song for the first time was really memorable. Each area felt unique and interesting. The witch's forest was my favourite, since it felt very mysterious and foreboding. I was curious to see what would happen next. There were also quite a few secrets to find throughout the game, including an optional boss, which is rewarding if you're into such things. The game features some custom animations, like spell glyphs and the dream shimmer effect, which are really nice. Josiah's artwork is original and really cool, portraying him as a dutiful fighter set out to stop evil. For my critiques, the disabling status effects can be really annoying, and almost every enemy towards the end knows at least one of...
Hmmm - nice enough little game, but very short, and the moving graphics in battles are enough to make you feel sick! I wouldn't replay it, that's for sure,
Short, simple and fun.
