But don’t let yourself get too carried away in the matters of love, or your people might go starving. Balance production, trade, housing, and more as you set out to create a happy -and healthy- settlement. Oh, and you never know what sordid affairs might go on in Lakeburg, so keep an eye out for random events and visitors that might pay you a cheeky visit.

Make couples! Pair together the lovebirds of your town, regardless of gender, and find the perfect matches to create the strongest, happiest settlement around. In Lakeburg, each character has their preferences and flaws that you’ll need to pay attention to. Nobody wants to be stuck in an unhappy match (and nor does your kingdom)! Write your legacy: happy couples will have children, so try to pass the best traits from generation to generation.

I love the concept of the game, with beautiful visuals, but gets boring overtime after your first play through.
Also the game has incomplete features (like endless mode) that will never get finalised as the dev has abandoned the game years ago.
I understand it failed to hit sales targets, but they should have at least made it feature complete or made it that the community can fix it / add to it.
I wish I could recommend it regardless, but I cannot.

I really enjoy this game, as you can tell from how many hours I've played it. However, I did mark that I wouldn't recommend it because it's unfinished. When I purchased the game, it was still a WIP, and I won't deny that there are enjoyable aspects to the game.
It's not stressful to play. It has a unique concept. The artstyle is cute.
But it's not finished and I don't think it ever will be, which is truly a shame. I would only really recommend buying this game if it's on super sale. I would not pay the price they are asking for a game that is permanently incomplete.

The game seems very half-baked and repetitive after the player has built most of the establishments. And it seems that the developers have completely abandoned the development of the game due to inability to learn from constructive feedbacks given by players in the community, as there are no new logs regarding updates.

Like others have said, the game feels lackluster and abandoned. I really liked the cute artstyle and the concept, after playing the demo I really wanted to play the full game. I feel like the game didn't live up to it's expectations, the game is too expensive for what you get.
