If you don't like the humour of Justin Roiland I would not recommend this game because it's the key redeeming feature. If you're a big fan of Rick & Morty you'll probably enjoy it. Cons: The game makes me feel ill (I am unsure why). The gameplay loop feels a bit boring and repetitive. Details of the game feel lazy (NPCs all look very samey). Pros: The writing and dialogue is very entertaining and is like a continuous episode of Rick & Morty. I had fun watching space TV and enjoying improvisational dialogue. It has a kind of meta humour like the game actively doesn't give a shit and breaks the fourth wall which can be quite charming.

Trying too hard with the edgy humor to make an appeal to it's audience and the gameplay is below average, compared to other games of the same genre, in the same price category.

Slow and obnoxious. Boss fights are boring. Regular enemies are extremely boring.

Funny game - Doesn't excuse the amount of glitches and lack of effort the development team put into this. How do you have an entire DLC but you have mobs constantly going into objects making them unkillable/seeable; at the same time you're unable to interact with anything because you're stuck in combat? This is just one of many glitches I'd experienced. This game is worth $5-$10 max.

honestly great game with a generic alien vibe done with the voice actors of rick and morty, only downside unreal engine, litrally the worst engine and running this on linux is a pain, I did get it working shout out to proton db.

If you’ve ever wondered what it would be like to have your gun sass you mid-firefight, this is the game. High on Life is made by some of the folks behind Rick and Morty, so the humor is exactly what you’d expect—chaotic, absurd, and occasionally making you question your own life choices (in a good way). It’s not the longest ride—about 10 hours give or take—but if you’re cool with paying for a wild, single-player comedy experience rather than endless replayability, it’s absolutely worth it. I laughed, I shot aliens, I bonded with a talking knife. 10/10 would let my weapons roast me again. Cheers, M.
