About This Game

There is a runaway trolley careering down the railway tracks. On the tracks are five people unable to move. You are next to a lever. If you pull this lever the trolley will switch to a different set of tracks. However, you notice that there is a person on the other track.

Watch the situation play out and five people die. Choose to pull the lever and only one person gets killed - but by you.

What will you do?

And that’s just for starters. Trolley Problem, Inc. is a darkly comedic narrative game based on real world philosophical papers, in which you are asked to make a series of impossible choices from two awful answers. Wrestle with your moral compass, decide the fate of millions – and then see how your choices compare to the rest of the world.

* A tightly-wound, two-hour narrative experience.
* Questions are based on genuine philosophical papers, complete with references.
* It’s you vs The Narrator as every decision you make is challenged.
* Compare your choices with other players.
* Full Twitch integration - let your audience help guide your decisions

Trolley Problem, Inc. is a brilliant, challenging, uncomfortable, comedic game from Samuel Read-Graves, the executive producer of Gang Beasts.

More or less, this reviews a slew of ethical conundrums, and you get to decide how you will act. A recommendation I'd have for the devs, is to address the common problems people have with the trolly problem (and similar). For example, nothing is certain. Any action you take only has a probability of arriving at the desired outcome. Ethical problems become much more interesting when probability is taken into account (for example, would you take a 20% chance of killing someone, if it also had an 80% chance of saving five others? The overall premise of the game seems to be: - In such situations, you're going to be traumatized no matter what you do. - In a real-life scenario, you know what path corporations are going to take, and if you work for them, you're either going to get fired, thrown under the bus, AND the company will still take the same path... or your going to be complicit. Capitalism doesn't work in the public's best interest. Questioning the status quo in society is one of...

I bought this game on a whim and finished it in one sitting (90 minutes). Went to the store page to leave a positive review and was very surprised to see it's got mixed reviews. It's a simple point-and-click game where you make decisions, fully voice narrated, filled with dark humour, and has many unexpected twists and turns. I enjoyed it. It was worth the $1 I spent on sale.

Horrible game, love it. 10/10. Gave me a headache. Bought it on a big sale, I'd say it's worth the money. While the game is mostly a satire, it actually makes you think.

I liked this game for the most part, except for the weird and continued fatphobia with the jokes and comments about the Very Large Brothers. Just felt unnecessarily mean-spirited.
