Unlocked is really good value for money because you get 3 games enfolded in one. Each game has a different story and each level has a different environment. All the variety maintains your interest. Each game has a host of collectables for you to find at your leisure and some are cunningly hidden. The worlds are not big enough to get overly lost, but challenging enough to get frustrated. In Unlocked, you are an alien on earth and each level is a season. Game play involves you finding all the clocks which will open the door to the next level and some tubes. There is no clock to beat, so it is a calming experience to leisurely find what you need. The gentle music in the background adds to the ambience. There is one tricky platform area in this game. The second game is Space training levels where there are stairs floating in space. There are 3 levels to play which increase in difficulty. The game play really depends on your sense of direction to find the collectable clocks and th...

Unlocked and Blue Sky on Mars are gorgeous games with an amazing original soundtrack. I felt like nearly any scene in the game you could just screenshot it and make it your background. The levels are absolutely gorgeous. I had ton of fun exploring the stunning environments and trying to find all of the collectibles. The collectibles can be very challenging to find, but I like a good challenge. I would highly recommend Unlocked to anyone who loves relaxing exploration games with lots of collectibles.

Not one, not two, but three games for the price of one! I had the opportunity to play an early version of Unlocked as part of a game jam and it was already really promising. At this time, you already had 4 different levels, rich, dense, but never too wide. You had to find your way but you were never getting lost. Now with this enhanced and polished version we have a real lesson of level design, which is at the center of the game mechanics and the artistic direction. In addition to the 4 main Unlocked levels, you will have the “Blue Sky on Mars” extension which is even better than the initial game. What’s more, there’s a series of “training” levels which, I think, are my favorites. Don’t skip them because they are marked as “training”, they are as good as the others chapters! Pretty good value for your money if you enjoy exploration games, just perfect to relax after a hard day at work.

A really good walking? No... Running simulator where you run around grabbing collectibles through beautiful scenery. There are actually three games in one package here. All three are fun and fairly short. None of the collectibles are too hard to find. The only negative aspect is that many of the achievements in both the bonus games do not trigger properly quite often. They do work... But often require you running through the the specific level more than once. That's a bit frustrating, but the games are small enough if you're hung up on the achievements it's not too much of a time killer. Overall quite fun, and despite the frustrating experience of achievements not triggering properly, I'd definitely recommend. Note: One of the games isn't obvious. It's under Extras.

A very relaxing, wander through the seasons. It didn't take me long to start enjoying this experience. I wouldn't really call it a game. There are things to find yet it is more relaxing to wander the landscape and 'happen' upon the small number of items. There is really nothing to 'beat' except your own anxiety over trying to locate the achievements quickly. I believe this defeats what is offered; some time to explore the seasons and enjoy the soundtrack. The music is lovely and manages to add a calming nature to whatever time is spent 'wandering' the landscape. Note on the training sections: there are 3 levels of 'training' and these are more of a game than the actual game. I am not much of a platformer, never got the knack. Platform games make me very nervous. The training sections are pure platform. But I have to say they are pretty doable. The 'game' has very little of this except for one season. If you don't like platform style games I wouldn't count this one out. ...

It's a walking sim all about looking for collectibles. (Later on there is also a bit of platforming.) It's not terrible, but some levels are just too big, too open without any structure that it's really easy to get lost and really hard finding the collectibles at times. Especially in one level where a lot of the collectibles are even hidden behind bushes.

Unlocked is an enjoyable, relaxing exploration game with a simple objective to collect all of the time pieces scattered throughout 4 areas - 1 for each season. It even includes another bonus game, which I haven't played yet. What stood out for me were 2 things: the graphics are gorgeous, especially in the Summer area with so many flowers and wildlife, and the level design is very good, especially in the Winter area where navigating to find the collectibles is the most challenging out of all the levels. It might be a simple game but it's clear the solo developer put a lot of time into it with a high level of detail. They also responded to my comments and implemented a feature to remove the UI to take screenshots. If only more game devs would follow this example.

It's a beautiful, relaxing game with soothing music. The developer clearly put a lot of time, heart, and soul into this game, and, unlike many exploration games, this one comes with animals to keep you company as you search for collectibles! The game is truly a treat, and for only a couple dollars, it's well worth the price.

This is one of those rare games where I paid the full price and felt like I got my money's worth. Although the game has no saves, which would be nice, you can select the levels. Which is good because I lack depth perception and can't make jumps in most cases. So you can play all four seasons, even if you can't complete a level. And to complete a level you are going through a now open gate, so you really aren't missing too much if you can't achieve it. The levels themselves are small, but dense. There are flowers in hourglasses to hunt for. Also clocks to start time again. And even a gem hunt. You can do any of them or none at all. You really can just mosey around if you can't do the platforming. All four seasons are lovely, and it was really relaxing to just wander around. Honestly, the only thing that would make this game better is if there were a way around the platforming or auto jump assist. I got very lucky on the Spring platforms, but not so much in winter. A way around these ...
