Overall opnion
Just started this game, the art is extremely beautiful, same with the graphics and animations. Everything is in pixel which is one of my absolute favourite type of art/drawing of all time. The plot is nice but boring at the same time, but when I am controlling "Mark" to walk around, it feels kind of heavy and slow, or is it because it is intended as he always walks slow; as in "lazy slow"? From what I have heard, this game has 5 chapters, so with the overall plot, art, and animation, I would say the price is decent.
Most of the achievements are my spirit animal as there are some things I tend to do irl (such as):

liking 100 comments (I love giving people the thumbs up all the time, whenever I happened to scroll thru social medias)
liking my own comment (this is soooo me)
paying items with 1 coins to clear up all of them, (but in my country currency, we don't have 1 coin, the smallest is 5, so I always give the cashiers/vending m...

Gaming hasn't been an escape or exciting as I remember it when i was younger. Nothing made me enjoy or made me interested. Thats when I saw a recommendation for this game online. I was curious from the the outside the art style and game play was great. I thought a change of pace was needed, maybe a romantic cozy game ought to do it. When I opened the game I was instantly hook. The art, the characters, the music and everything else just gave me this feeling. While playing I was smiling, grinning, crying, getting embarrassed, questioning if i made the right choice or if I should have done things differently. I loved every bit of it. I love Mark, Nicole, Cathy, Louise, Ryan, Justin, Sam all the other amazing characters who I felt I knew and so real. I am not Filipino but somehow related to the culture as much as I could and I am glad the representation was there. When I had finished one part of the game I was in awe wondering if I did all I could to get the best then I realised I could ...

For the most part, Until Then is a poignant tale of adolescence told through lively dialogue and a smattering of unique minigames. The art style is adorable, and the characters are utterly enchanting both on their own and in their interactions. The mystery and time-travel weave together in a thrilling yarn. Yet for all that wonderful setup, the ending completely fails to land. I love bittersweet and melancholy endings, or even truly tragic ones, but this one was all too jumbled to decide what it was even aiming for. Far too many threads were left loose, and it is deeply unsatisfying to see the lack of conclusion for so many characters who received so much buildup - especially when it came to an ending that was likely meant to be hopeful. I had to sit on this review for a long time due to how conflicted I felt. I *thoroughly* enjoyed playing the game, and I feel it is worth the price given the love clearly put into it. But the ending has left such a sour taste in my mouth that I canno...

in the end, i feel bad giving this one a thumbs down. it's clear a lot of love went into this game and it is well made too, but the story did not click for me and the pacing was terrible. by the time i got to the final act i was just playing it to finish it, not to actually see it resolve. one of the few games i'm sad i didn't like.

10/10. What can i even say about this game, it's just amazing, my only complaint is the evil devs that made you care so much about everything and everyone, i feel like my emotions were puppeted and i honestly wouldn't have it any other way, i can't wait to see what the devs might be cooking up next but alas, i'll have to wait patiently. Until then...... i'll go cry in a corner PS: this game has so many worthy quotes and is so beautiful in every way, just thinking of it makes me feel inspired to do something and inspire others, from the art to the writing, all my work from here on out will be at least somewhat inspired by this masterpiece and i will never be the same.

Peaceful and easygoing, this game feels like living someone else’s everyday life. Nothing too dramatic—just school, friends, music, and small moments that quietly hit home. Really relatable and calming to play.

"No matter how much we want to, we'll never truly understand someone else. Not entirely. But that's part of understanding, isn't it?" Man what a ride that was. I went into it completely blind, without any expectations and I am glad I did. Because this game offers one of the strongest narratives I have ever experienced. Even now writing the review I can’t believe what I´ve witnessed. Narrative: This game starts with you playing as a high school student Mark, who is suddenly experiencing some weird things after natural disaster called The Ruling happened. While navigating through his life, he learns that its not only him experiencing those weird things. So he and the other affected students try to get to the bottom of it and put an end to it. I can’t explain more of the story without leaking some spoilers so this is the basic introduction to the story. Of course the juicy fruits that it offers are hidden in the conversations and behind every character. T...
