About This Game
Something is amiss with everyone's favorite Saturday morning puppet show! For years, the colorful cast of The Friendly Neighborhood delighted audiences across the globe with their cooky capers and educational adventures. However, as time went on and interest waned, the production studio found themselves out of money and closed their doors for good. Toy sales would dwindle, and birthday balloons and cakes would find new mascots. In time, the once household names would fade into increasingly niche fandoms. Until one night years later, the studio unexpectedly clicks back to life and starts broadcasting The Friendly Neighborhood. TV sets across the globe flicker for a moment before the familiar puppets return for a surprise encore! But this isn't your typical family-friendly holiday special... are those puppets eating each other!?
Thinking the antenna on top of the main building has started broadcasting old episodes, the city sends Handyman Gordon to straighten things out. It doesn't take Gordon long to find that the typically friendly neighborhood has become a lot less welcoming. Stepping into his work boots, you'll have to fend off ferocious friends, solve a plethora of playtime puzzles turned perilous, and hopefully uncover the dastardly truth at the heart of this terrifying tale.
If you're tired of games that rely on gore more than solid scares, then come on over to the streets of MFN! Featuring a mix of action and adventure, MFN is the perfect game for horror fans looking for something a bit different. Sure, there might not be any dismemberment or decapitations. But that just means the puppets don't stay down for good...

As a fan of old school survival horror you'd think this game would be enjoyable for me. However, it feels quite unfinished and unpolished. There just isn't a whole lot of plot or things to do, frankly I was bored. I had no problem running all over the map like an idiot in RE1, but here it feels tedious and pointless. During the entire 3h I played, I had no real incentive to keep going. I'm not sure why this game is so popular because it's so simplistic in a very bad way. It's not scary or exciting or remotely interesting and the atmosphere is extremely lacking. It's the same enemies again and again and again and while the level design is okayish it just - again - lacks in atmosphere. Overall it's just a boring game with a thin ass plot and no originality whatsoever.
The pay to save mechanic is absolutely idiotic and made me lose a lot of progress. I'm getting a refund if possible.
TLDR: Resident Evil 7 meets Sesame Street in this awesome take on survival horror. While not too scary, it has great mechanics and exploration.

PROS:
➕Creative setting/world design ➕Survival horror mechanics ➕Excellent puzzles
NEUTRALS:
🔹Inventory management can get rough
CONS:
➖Saving the game costs in-game currency
Content (Game world/Narrative) – [8/10]
The game world takes place on a television studio set. You have various buildings that you traverse around this set - things like a hotel, writing room, shooting stages, prop rooms, ect. It’s essentially what you would expect on any Hollywood-style movie set, just at night and (mostly) abandoned. I found the world awesome to explore and felt it was really well put together. The narrative is fairly simple - your goal is to shut off a broadcast that has been running from an empty building. You must get to the top of the building where the antenna...
Good mascot horror. Very reminiscent of modern Resident Evil games. Finished this game in small bursts but would 100% play through this again, its got great wit and doesn't overstay its welcome. Plus it has added game modes to keep coming back.
Meh, the game lets you leave before actually finishing the job. I had to watch the real ending on yt. Didn't bother to go back to the game afterwards...
I did enjoy the game for what it was, but the lack of coins for saving really killed it for me and I gave up playing. I remember the old Resident Evil days where you had to have an ink ribbon to save, but the devs excluded coins in a lot of the latter game save rooms.
Resident Evil mixed with Sesame Street! 10/10 loved every second of it
My Friendly Neighborhood is a unique blend of first-person horror and intense combat that thrusts players into a disturbing yet darkly humorous world. Developed by Stave Studios, the game offers a fresh take on the horror genre by merging elements of fast-paced action, puzzle-solving, and unsettling atmosphere into a cohesive, adrenaline-fueled experience. From the moment you step into the shoes of a ragdoll-wielding protagonist tasked with cleaning up a nightmarish town, it’s clear that My Friendly Neighborhood is anything but your typical horror game. The premise itself is intriguing: you are a janitor responsible for disposing of monstrous creatures that have invaded a seemingly peaceful suburban neighborhood. Armed with a giant ragdoll, you must capture and eliminate these grotesque enemies while navigating through increasingly surreal and nightmarish environments. The juxtaposition of a mundane occupation with a horrific task injects a layer of dark humor into the game, keeping...
