Knighted

This is a really good game. I love the visuals and the short bite-sized chunks that let you play quick matches without a big time commitments. Game play stands out the most. It's a tactics game that uses chess pieces and moves. There's a little twist in getting units and accumulating enough gold to buy new units and it's totally functional. It's worth a buy if you like tactics games.

As a non-chess player it can sometimes be infuriating but it does make getting that win that much sweeter.

Very strategic - great game!

A really cool take on a classic. If you enjoy the logic, reasoning, adventure and empowerment you get from a simple game of chess, then I'd definitely recommend this game. The different map layouts at each level mean you have to re-strategise and come up with a new battle plan each time, which keeps things interesting! It didn't take long to understand and start to play with confidence, looking forward to seeing what's after each level in the campaign, improve my strategies and take on some online challengers.

An excellent purchase, I will be spending many more hours playing this excellent strategy game. Like a hyped up version of chess where no two levels are the same. If you enjoy a challenge this game is for you. 10/10 would recommend!!!!

Learns from chess without copying it. Great little strategy game, borrowing the moveset of the pieces but modifying the rules. The slight changes in the rules (multiple moves per turn + spending all accumulated wealth) adds a different twist and will have you thinking hard Good fun, had the most fun playing vs friends. Not a bad price too. Devs if you see this would be cool to see a phone version to play on my way to work!

It's a good Classic Chess type game. Relaxing and fun to play with friends also have fast and easy on matchmaking easy to find players, Would love to see the Rank tier list for players who play Rank. The only issue I have come across is player move is a bit hard to see on maps different due to colours. The overall game was fun and classic, with a few features I would love to see on future update map selections. And would recommend it to anyone who enjoys small indie class chess games.

fun short puzzle game

One of the better chess inspired games on steam (there are plenty). The campaign is really well crafted.

The idea for this game is so good! It's chess like with Civilization-like aspects. You have Knights, Queens, and Pawns, and other equivalent cards, and you can take control of farms, and castles, to get resources. But there are many small little issues that if resolved could make this game so much better! It's actually painful for me that I can't play this game which I know with a few changes could be endlessly playable with friends. First of all, in PVP matches, I don't know about any other matches, there is a time limit. I have nothing against a time limit, but at the end of the time limit, the game moves your pieces for you, and puts them in potentially game-ending positions. So rounds are less pensive moments of retaliation or strategy, and more "Spend all my gold so the AI doesn't fuck me over". I would rather lose all my gold than for the game to move my units for me. Or no time limit at all. Also, to move the pieces, you have to hold the mouse. You can't just click the unit then...
