It's pretty good! The difficulty balance of the stages / bosses is a little whack, but the persistent upgrades and modifiers make it so I think anybody can make the game easy enough to beat, even if you aren't good at SHMUPs. I kind of wished the game did more with the randomized order of bosses + levels by varying their difficulty a little more, but it seems like they didn't go quite far enough if this regard. However, it's very cheap for a high quality experience. The art and sound team did a fantastic job with the theme of the Karens, it feels good to play, and you really can't go wrong with this if you like shooting games for $5. 8/10, very good for a first game!
