This game is a lot of fun. Love the arcade feel to it where you can just pick up and play a level. Definitely some nostalgic vibes with space shooters of the past. Controls feel really good on both mouse/keyboard and HOTAS. I also really like how unique each of the ships feel, though I still have to try them all out. Good times so far!

Finally a easy to play Terminal Velocity type game and priced right.
Been a fan of flight games forever and I like this one as a little arcade-style shooter. Fun to just strafe around and fight other ships. Not too big of a learning curve on the controls (but I did reset some of the defaults in Options). Music is great and the voice-over Easter eggs are amazing...nice touch!
Although the game recognises the HOTAS, it sets EQUAL default actions to the Throttle and Joystic, and programming the buttons is cryptic at best. After several attempts at getting it to work, I finally desisted.
Im not a big arcade person, but this game is absolutely phenomenal for a basic flight simulator game. The only critiques I would make is that the voice acting is kind of low quality, and it would be a nice addition to the game if a sort of open world/freeroam mode was added.
A rather simple but fun arcade combat romp with both space and planet side engagements. You also have the option of customizing your ship type and equipment before each mission, with alterations carrying over between runs. At such a low price it's definitely worth the money.
This game is an excellent "space shooter" type game, though most of the missions are planetary. Like sci fi action? This is a worthy title. Takes about 2.5 hours to beat in my experience. Very accessible once you realize some objectives light on fire and need additional shots before they explode into nothing. Replayability seems high because there are many ships and upgrades for each ship, as well as an option to carry upgrades to a new game. It also seems like there may be multiple endings because choices you make affect the dialogue/game. The mission scenery is amazing. You're getting a lot of different terrain to fly over. Sometimes it feels a little empty, but most flight games do. All of this praise said, I have to say the mission types are a bit bland. It boils down to "shoot and destroy everything" or "kill the objectives to win." It also suffers from a lack of radar or HUD (you have to press R to "find nearest target." So it's a game missing comforts we've had since perhaps ...
Had high hopes based on trailer video. But the game crashes if there's a joystick/throttle/hotas plugged in. Unplug the hotas gear and works ok with a controller. Dev if you care enough to respond I can help you with logs/feedback etc. Until this is fixed - dont recommend.
Enjoying my time with Silverwing!
feels clunky and unpolished not even worth when 50% off it always starts my steam VR for no reason
