Edit : original review below. I finally managed to find an answer for the bug mentionned in my initial review. FPS was too high. You read that correctly, FPS was too high. Apparently going over 60 FPS breaks some mechanics in this game. Turning on VSync and reducing my monitor refresh rate from 75Hz to 60Hz in Windows settings (no FPS cap option inside the game) solved the problem. Unbelievable. After finding a workaround for this ridiculous, horrendous bug, I'm still enjoying the game. But I'm keeping my review negative until it's fixed, which means probably forever. ======================================================================================== I encountered a game breaking bug that prevented me from 100%-ing one level after investing more than 20h of gameplay. Some gameplay mechanic just decided not to work on my PC (confirmed by viewing a video walkthrough). Even if I bought the game at 95% off for around 1$ this made me bitter enough to not recommend this game.

Absolutely a hidden gem of a game! Though it does suffer from a slow tutorial, and it can take some time to really understand the main mechanic of spreading the Togges. While the game's slow start kinda put me off, once the mechanics started to set in and the game gave me free reign to explore the first world, I started to have a ton of fun, and the main mechanics started to settle in naturally. While the Togges spreading seems limiting, I found that it was actually pretty fun solving puzzles that way once I quickly got used to it. The game does have its fair share of jank and bugs, but I didn't encounter anything game breaking or something that could ruin the 100% or the like. Sometimes the jank was fun to use to my advantage. If you like collect-a-thon's this is likely a game for you, though it's mechanics may not be for everyone. I personally had an absolute blast 100%ing the game!
Wasn't interested, got it in a bundle, gave it a shot, insisted past the weak tutorial, then started enjoying it. It reminds me of Supraland, only ugly, unpolished, occasionally frustrating... In short, inferior. Still, its vastness, coupled with the abundance of mechanics (new ones never stop appearing) and variety of challenges earn the game a lot of credit and entertainment value. Things you can do are rarely explained, so expect light-bulb moments hours into levels. Many traversal and platforming mechanics are amusing, and challenging to various degrees. Level design shows little harmony. In places, it's more like tons of disparate stuff cramped into random spaces. However, it's also a good way to hide secrets, sometimes in plain sight; and secrets are aplenty. A detector tool is available to signal roughly where you should scrutinise for missing collectables. In terms of flaws, the biggest one by far is the camera, too limited, unfit for narrow interiors, and never capable of l...
Great Collect-A-Thon hidden gem, I was honestly surprised by how much I ended up enjoying it, I completed it 100% and loved basically every moment. I admit that the beginning was kinda rough, the tutorial is slow, the plot and the dialogues don't feel very interesting and the mechanics are kinda hard to grasp fully at first, but as soon as I was given the freedom to explore I started to fall in love with the game. The spreading mechanic that is the base of the game may seem weird or limiting at first, but imho it's a very unique, satisfying and clever system that also gives you many ways to solve the puzzles. The platforming isn't a big part of the game, as the character you control can basically go anywhere without problems (though it cannot collect anything by itself, so you need to spread the Togges), what really matters is the exploration, and that it's absolutely great, as the game reminded me old N64 classics like my beloved Banjo-Kazooie. I also loved how finding the collecti...
