About This Game

Dragons steal everything they come across... That’s something the new inhabitants of this peculiar peninsula discover when they arrive.
You must help all these unfortunate heroes to recover all that stolen treasure...

LootLite is a roguelike-arcade in which you can embody different heroes to try to recover their stolen treasures, through a huge area full of secrets, hidden paths and all kinds of weapons that will make your playthrough easier.

All levels are automatically generated, making each game unique and unrepeatable. Travel through every corner of the peninsula in search of weapons and runes, as well as secret paths and alternative routes.

Travel through the land, from ancient dungeons to the bowels of an old volcano, slaying any enemy you come across along the way.

LootLite is a top-down pixel art game that is easy to understand at first but may become a challenge for those who want to master the game 100%.

You control seven types of classes: Warrior, mage, assassin, apothecary, barbarian, necromancer and the dreaded dragon knight. Each class has unique skills, so that each type of player can play the way they like best.

You can try to beat the highscores in global and weekly leaderboards. Prove that you are able to recover the stolen treasure, try to generate loops to advance beyond 100% and climb to the top of the rankings.

Don’t want to play alone? Then connect a gamepad and give it to a friend to play in local cooperative mode.

The game is simplistic. This is great. The art style is pretty standard, sure. The issue is the overall balance and the fact that there are NO attack animations for melee enemies. The biggest issue with the fights is that the enemies just walk at you and you take damage. This isn't as bad for enemies that are slower, but in the second area the enemy speed doubles while your attack rate is still the same. This means that if the enemies are stacked just right, you won't be able to stop some of them from hitting you no matter what. Couldn't even stand 30 minutes of this. Not to mention the mushrooms in the second area... Only play this game if you're actually really good at positioning between projectiles. I'm not, and it makes everything worse. Oh and the lightning is BS. Price isn't an issue when balance isn't satisfying. Edit: Also the mage's fireball is just horrid because of how easily it gets destroyed when near terrain. Should have a separate hotbox for clipping terrain. Can...

This is definitely worth a buy at $6.99 if you at all like Roguelikes. I will probably put 5-6 hours into this. I have never left a review before, but this is actually a pretty good game and currently the top review is negative, unjustly in my opinion. I'll give on overview of the whole game below, but first i want to address the complaints you'll see in other reviews. "Enemies come at you too fast/stacked on top of one another/Impossible to dodge" - I have to completely disagree here. Most enemies die in 2 hits at the start. Melee weapons knockback enemies as well as hit all enemies in their range. Them being stacked on top of each other is a non-issue for melee characters, which the first character is. Speed of enemies I have not noticed as being an issue. Some enemies are slower than you, some are slightly faster. Your character can gain speed upgrades and the first character has a dodge ability. "Mushrooms are difficult"- this I have to partially agree with. There are a couple f...

I enjoy playing the game its like the trailer the only thing i have to say is that online co op would be awesome so my friends can play it without remote share.

Not for me/can not recommend, the camera does not stay centered on your character when ever you change the direction of your attack and thus when ever you change the direction you aim the camera moves/jiggles slightly towards the new direction and moves off center of your character slightly and as such this makes one of the very few games on that has caused me to feel motion sickness (i think it makes it the third to do so in my 28 years of gaming) In addition there is no option to rebind the controls for controller or mouse/keyboard and as someone that cant stand using bottom trigger buttons on a controller, this only further makes this game a no go for me since it forces you to use the bottom right trigger button as you main attack button. Game was released in 2021, any game released past 2014 should have the option to rebind keys for both types of controls.

A nice roguelike game, reminds me a little bit of Nuclear Throne, but even simpler. Could be longer, but it's worth a try it you like the genre.

I fucking hate narrow corridors in this kind of games, the game itself isn't difficult, it would be really enjoyable if atleast this corridors were breakable like in Nuclear. The game is cheap, so I won't critizise anyting but that design choice.

Simple roguelike with quite enjoyable gameplay. I liked the combat and progression. You can't go wrong with it at this price.

I have to review this because Steam stopped keeping track of playtime of games you don't own so I may run into this game in the future and forget I didn't like it. Might as well give my impressions: Good work was done on the feel and look of the game. Doesn't look like there is too much weapon variety and weapons can be picked up by every class so the classes basically feel the same. Runes suck and repeat. Almost no i-frames so you can die quickly. Just feels fairly shallow

I like LootLite. I recorded some of my time with LootLite here, so if you value an audio + visual look and listen for review, please give the video a look. https://youtu.be/uJzULbReqng LootLite is an Indie Action RogueLike / RogueLite with a real Legend of Zelda A Link to the Past style visually, but packing Procedural Generation and Local Co-op Multiplayer as well.
LootLite is Like:
Think Rogue Heroes Ruins of Tasos, except that the whole world is procedurally generated, not just the dungeons, with less of a focus on item collection, and more of a focus on cleaving through your foes, and collecting coins to upgrade your character. Less exploration, more extermination! Coins are the currency here, as they let you choose to purchase new abilities from the shrines scattered throughout the lvls, in an arcade style that is very pick up and play. So, More smash ie, less explore ie.
Like Nuclear Throne?
Yes! Loot Lite is a bit like a f...
