as a black man who's been intimately involved with a white woman with red hair I can say this really captures the experience.

User Reviews
Ok, finally beat the game so I can wax poetic about the whole thing. I will start first with a gameplay review so all the folks just trying to figure out if its enjoyable can judge from there. I need to download NIGHTMARE now, but Ill give that it's own review once I finish that too. Gameplay - 9/10 VERY fun. Holy shit I cannot stress how fun this game is. If you like fast paced and movement/placement heavy shooters, this is for you. Its a good sort of adrenaline and overstimulating. My only lament is that there isn't an endless mode so I can see how long I can survive enemy rushes. (DEVS PLEASE SEE THAT PART I BEG YOU LOL) It can be fast paced in areas, slower in some, but overall the balance feels good for a game with story. Intended difficulty is good, I found myself sweating in some things but not so much I couldn't be happy with completing the levels. The boss fights are intense but once you find your tempo it feels so satisfying to see health bar go down. Controls 7/10 Can be...
Loved the story: It really stuck with me and made me look forward to turning on my computer after work to find out more. Gameplay was great, too. It was exactly what I expected and I never once got bored, owing to what i thought was a decent difficulty curve as you move along the story. Overall, would buy again to hear James' smexy voice
John El Paso enters a motel, proceeds to uncover strange things, fights ex girlfriend. Good game. Pretty sure Powers Boothe would enjoy this game.
Max Payne Meets Supernatural Meets Dracula-Noir. A wonderful blend of third person shooter action with a supernatural flavor, styled as a neo-noir movie.
really good
This game is really cool. It takes obvious inspiration from the original Max Payne so if, like me, you actually prefer that over Rockstar's version, you'll really like this. But there's this obnoxious glitch where sometimes when you respawn, all the enemies that you previously killed or were fighting will start agroed to you which can be rally annoying when you're meticulously moving through a large room picking off a large number of enemies one at a time and you fuck up once and respawn and now the entire room of enemies are all charging you at once forever and in some cases, it's actually just easier to restart the whole level.
pretty good.
Shit is fire.
