This game may look simplistic at first glance. But don't be fooled, the skill ceiling in this game is tremendously high. It is not precision aiming or microsecond reaction time that will win the game (or a new position on the leaderboard.) Rather, you have to come prepared, have a plan, execute it well, and, if shit hits the fan, have an exit strategy. There are multiple risk-reward systems that encourage you to play on razor's edge as much as possible. - You want to stay close to the spiders to raise your fire rate, but you have to make sure you don't get overrun. - You can spend points on score boosters, but then you have less defensive and offensive skills. - You can choose to play many easy battles or fewer more difficult (and longer) battles. What looks like little nuances at first (if you even notice them) may become crucial tactical differences later on. A little rock on the map may look irrelevant at first, but you can use it as a ramp to get airborne again. (And airtime is ...

About This Game
A million years in the future. Evolutionary pressure has turned spiders into a far superior species. Humans are now close to extinction. The last survivors rely on remains of powerful technology they didn't invent and barely understand. You traverse this lonely, hostile world in search for a safe home.
Key features
- Vicious enemy swarm AI
- Shoot to shoot faster: each shot temporarily boosts your rate of fire
- Agility based combat: run, slide, jump, dash, and glide to prevail
- Roguelike with meta progression: you lose all progress when you die, but you get to keep your gear
- Fight on 68 maps with individual defense units
- Pick your loadout from 20 powerful skills
- Assemble your outfit from 58 customizable pieces of clothing
- Customize your character with 14 hair styles and 22 facial options
- Input method: mouse & keyboard (rebindable)
Potential issues
- Realistically animated spiders: If you're arachnophobic, skip this game.
- Violence: Spiders die graphically. No visual injuries to human characters.
- Nudity: You can undress your character. Anatomic accuracy can be adjusted. No sexual content.
- NO intentional jump scares (but it's an action game—be careful if you're sensitive)
- Gameplay NOT dependent on color vision (to my knowledge—let me know if I missed something)

Addicting game. I eagerly await what the future has in store for this title.
At the surface an easilly understood game which controls way more smoothly than you'd think. Most likely requires dedication, knowledge and skill to push the leaderboards. Speaking of which, I'm #2 behind the dev, I'll likely lose that spot immediately if anyone buys the game due to this review. squash spiders dress pretty shoot fast reach zen
This game has a lot of potential. I actually like the low polygon artstyle. The movement in combat is extremely fun and kind of gives me Saints Row IV vibes. The main aspect that got me in to begin with was the customization system which is significantly better than Cyberpunk 2077's half-baked system.
The developer cares about this game and it shows, a lot of work has gone into it. This is a labour of love. Still trying to get the hang of the movement but it's not as if the buttons themselves are confusing. Dash is bound to jump by default after all! I bounced off Cloudbuilt because it felt like there was way too much to remember but the basics of movement in this game are simple. The low poly art style honestly works in favour of the game so don't let that put you off! Details don't matter when you're flying through the air trying to avoid being murdered by spiders. About the only negative I can give is that some of the forest-type maps are a bit awkward and it's easy to get lost inside objects (you can clip through objects but only for a limited time). Could also use an extended tutorial of sorts, like an obstacle course or something.
Speed, strategy, spiders. Kill spiders, get loot, die, keep loot and start again, become god eventually (i guess whatever).
TL DR: A Cool Arcade-style pseudo roguelite. That description does do this game an injustice though, the game is unique, in that the only real skill you need is strategy, in a sense that most of the game is kind of automatic, the control you get is how fast it goes. For example: you don't control the aim itself, since it has an automatic targeting system, instead you control how fast you shoot, and what properties it is (e.g. Fire/Ice), the rnge, and also have decoys, time warpers and general boosts to health, score (yeah score is a big part) and damage, both round specific, or semi permanent, in that if you "reset"(sleep), you lose them. This game does require some brain, but for the most part, pretty acessible. In general, extremely fun to play, and fun to watch too, something many can't claim. There are always some nitpicks with it, but they don't deter me, and i guess none of the ppl that play regularly 9/10
Nice and original concept, don't let yourself stop by the graphics and try the demo !
I'm not any good at this game, but I really enjoy it. I played a couple hours of the demo, and intend to get more into the full game as well.
