About This Game

  • A new life awaits you in Honeywood! After washing onto the island's shores, you'll find yourself the newly minted owner to a humble plot of land. Pull up your sleeves, grab your tools, and get to work building a farm that will last not only a lifetime, but span generations!

  • Echoes of Plum Grove is a casual, cozy farm simulator where your decisions have consequences! What to plant, what to stock for the winter, and who to befriend will shape not only the town of Honeywood, but the island itself.

  • Winter brings new levels of danger to players. With your very survival at stake, you'll have to work your land, fish the sea, cook meals, craft, forage, and more to ensure you make it through the cold season. Should you neglect to prepare, your lineage could end before anyone can uncover the island's secrets.

  • While your main focus should be on survival, the town of Honeywood puts its best festive foot forward with many celebrations taking place.

  • Honeywood may be a cozy hamlet, where the people are the heart of the town. Everyone who lives on the island has their own schedules, jobs, traits, hobbies, and children.

  • Work together with your fellow townsfolk to forge an even greater community - or just get them out of the way with harsh words and drastic measures.

  • Building relationships is at the core of Echoes of the Plum Grove. As you grow your family tree and your original character perishes, you'll find yourself playing as someone else within your family!

  • While building relationships is crucial to your experience, take time to explore the island. There are many mysteries to uncover. Some say there's a witch that lives on the island and brings to town strange items. Others swear they've heard something coming from the bay. A few wonder what exists at the bottom of the mines. Adventure to the edges of the island to see what Echoes of Plum Grove has in store for you!

I found this game due to a cozy gamers facebook group I am in. I saw all the posts about their entire village dying from small pox, dysentery, etc. Then people started posting that they killed their spouses with death cakes because they got too old. Or a villager disrespected them, so death cake they got. Anywho, I was hooked on getting this game after seeing all the posts. I am not disappointed. It creates drama that you didn't know you needed, and if that kind of game play is not for you, it's possible to turn diseases and death off. You can change the aging pace as well. I like that the villagers give you quests so the game doesn't feel so open ended. I think this game is definitely more for people who are creative and can create their own story line, or for those who like farming games. 10/10 recommend, would also like to add, their is a wiki page for this game to give you all the information you could possibly need if you get stuck or confused.

I dunno it just feels disorganised and like it was made in a hurry

This is a really refreshing version of the classic farming game. Folks die, you have to eat, and your kids play an important part of your game instead of being another pet.

Cozy farming sim with generational gameplay and contagious disease? Sign me up! The mechanics in the game are well implemented and keep gameplay feeling fresh even after multiple generations. The main storyline is a bit short, but charming nonetheless. It is easy to sink several hours into the game without even noticing!

1.6 hours. That's how long my first character lasted. I didn't read anything about the game before getting it (and have decided after this not to read anything and just let it all surprise me), I just knew it was meant to be 'cozy', and.. well mistakes were made to say the least. My character was hungry and I ate a mushroom, perfectly fine. So then I eat the other mushroom of a different variety that was in my inventory. Next thing I know, 'death imminent' pops up on my screen. I'm frantically running about looking for help. I ran over to the apothecary for help and there was an option to inoculate myself and I'm like ya know that doesn't sound helpful in this moment but maybe it is so do it. And she gave me a shot and took 200 gold and it was for small pox. She could look at me and see I didn't have small pox but she sure took my money anyways as I was dying. And then it hits me that that means that I can get small pox in another play through?! I'm still trying to salvage this first o...

I love this game. I'm glad that there are settings that can make the game less intense. There is only one thing that bothers me and I know it's ridiculous but the pemmican recipe is inacurate. Pemmican is(as far as I know) made with rendered tallow and dried meat and/or dried berries. I'd love to see an accurate recipe. Other than my small nitpick I enjoy the game and my sibling is enjoying it too!

SUPER FUN GAME. I love how different it is from usual farming simulators. I love the dark aspects of it and having a whole family tree. The style of the game is so sweet too and I fell in love with my family and animals! The whacky characters too. After almost reaching winter. I realize I'm suddenly slowing down with excitement. I do love the grindyness of it but I do wish there was more depth. Which I'm sure our 2 lovely devs have future plans with it however I wish there was more story.. Whenever an event did happen I was extremely happy and all ears. I guess I'm just greedy for more. That said I am excited for my character to pass from old age and live on as my offspring. This game is definitely worth playing. It's got surprises, babies, a survival vibe to it and lots of animals and npcs to love. Not to mention, how cool the environment, music and style is.
