I really should finish this game before writing this, but I feel kind of bad for Mainframes. Despite the somewhat cheaper price, someone decided to roll out 50% discounts within six months of launch. No idea if it's the dev or the publisher, but 50% discounts so quickly after launch feels like someone trying to recoup costs after launching and failing to meet sales numbers. I'll admit that I'm likely part of the problem by buying at 50% and not getting it sooner, but I do feel this game is worth the full price. Not everyone will enjoy it because that's the nature of art, but I enjoy what this game tries to be. I've seen people say the controls are not tight enough, but I don't agree. Am I right in saying the controls are tight or are the other people right? I also don't understand why some people call it a puzzle platformer. Yes, you do need to use your brain to figure out how to progress at points, but it's more platformer than puzzle. But again, maybe it's just me. Overall, I like...

Great Game With Fun Gimmicks!
I really was excited for this game when I first saw it online-- it looked really fun and cute with just enough difficulty. But after playing through just over what seems to be halfway through the game, I really have mixed feelings. This is one of those games I wish I could give a "neutral" or "mixed feelings" button to now that I've played it. On the one hand, the graphics and vibes of this game are wonderful, and the platforming is pretty fun-- a lot of love was put into this game for sure. But what bogs down the experience is excessively difficult sections, hard-to-read level design, and bugs that mess with my controls. Most of the time I can look over small issues like these if the game overall flows and feels good to play. But I don't know, man-- this game feels like it was *meant* to be this way (aside from the bugs of course). And I feel like it could have used some major tweaking in the areas I've brought up. I think I may still finish the game-- it's still so adorable ...
This game is very charming but also surprisingly challenging. As someone that has not played difficult indie 2D platformers like Celeste, this was a difficult game for me, but surprisingly rewarding to finish! I will say the game had 1 achievement that did not unlock for me despite completing it. In addition YOU CAN GO BACK TO PREVIOUS LEVELS, just go into the menu in game. I do wish the game made it easier to know how many collectables there were per level, but there is info online to help. Overall, would recommend this game those who love challenging platform games and those who have never tried them! Loved the graphics, character design, art style, and music!
Fun and cute, short and sweat. Love the retro computer aesthetics. The program window inspired platforming is very inventive. Each level introduces a new mechanic, keeping things fresh. Also, the music is excellent.
Super charming little puzzle platformer. The visual direction is amazing, the pixel art is great, and the puzzles are really well thought out. Gave me a good 4 hours of gameplay on my first run, well worth the price imo
