I played "Adventure Field - Remake" before this one and I didn't like it. Too many things were just done wrong in that game. I called it a good first attempt, but a bad finished product. THIS game, the fourth in the series, is done considerably better. I actually enjoyed playing this one. I liked some of the things they did here, but some things I still didn't like. Let me break it down for you: The combat mechanics are fairly well balanced, with enemies who levelup as you do so they never feel super difficult but also never feel too easy. Sadly the magic/skills system is still pretty underpowered; if you're trying to use magic or skills instead of regular attacks then you're doing it wrong. Just stick with the "HULK SMASH!" approach for every fight, it's the best way to deal damage. The story is fleshed out for a change! Much better than the first game. We strongly recommend to play the game with a controller due to the frequent use of the camera. It is possible to play with the keyboard but it is not recommended. To rotate the camera from left to right with the keyboard use the ( Q and E keys ), from down to up use the ( F and R keys )... To zoom and unzoom the camera use the ( C and V keys ) and finally to reset the camera use the ( K key )...
The game as been made entirely with the Smile Game Builder engine and as not been exported to Unity to customize it in any way! So this game is an example of what you can do with the SGB engine without any knowledge of programmation whatsoever! Keep in mind when playing that this engine as some limitation...
