User Reviews
Interesting mystery/detective game. Overall I enjoyed it and I respect it for trying something different with the nonlinear, time-limited investigations, but I think the time limit at the core of the game's design ultimately detracts from the experience. I was able to figure out the major points of the mystery on my playthrough, but due to the in-game time limit I was left with a bunch of gaps in my understanding of the characters and story that I won't be able to fill without a second or even third playthrough. At the same time, the slow pacing of the game makes a replay sound very tedious and so I don't see myself revisiting the game any time soon. While playing, I found myself annoyed at several points because the time limit penalizes you pretty harshly for doing things in a non-optimal order, but you have no idea what the correct order is in a blind playthrough. For example, it takes significant time to enter a house and question a witness inside. If you finish questioning a wit...
I liked this game a lot, it was weird, but it did feel like solving a mystery, I loved the story and the characters, i will agree with the negative reviews, having a time limit does take away from the experience. As I want to experience and see and uncover everything in the game, but that time limit punishes you for exploring, and I think thats kind of a detriment in a detective style game, but despite that I really enjoyed uncovering the mystery and all the little mysteries of all the goofy characters, really fun, and worth the time and money to experience.
