About This Game

Defeat monsters, collect heroes, and solve puzzles in Pixelot, the single player turn based RPG that combines the combat of classic role playing games, the team building of monster collecting games, and the dungeons of adventure games.
- The turn based combat system in Pixelot is very familiar with most players, but adds features such as combo skills, damage over time effects, stat upgrades, and a cooldown system for your most powerful skills.
- Pixelot has a very easy to understand gearing and upgrading system that allows players to customize their characters and what items they want to invest in. Because of the number of playable classes available in the game, players each have their own unique team and experience in Pixelot.
- The game also features dungeons with sliding ice puzzles, mine cart riddles, and more.
- Pixelot is designed to be a game that is really easy to pick up and play whenever and where ever with features like auto save, party healing after each fight, and a quest log to remind you where you left off.
Pixelot is truly a love letter to classic rpgs, and the greatness that was the 90's and 2000's eras.

The story in Pixelot follows your custom character that is pulled into this world by the mysterious figure Astrum. After years of peace since the dark lord was sealed away by the 6 elemental crystals, his touch on the world is growing stronger each day. The player must venture out into this unknown world, making many allies, protecting villages from wolves and monsters, overthrowing corrupt leaders, and passing many trials of strength, patience and virtue.

Build your army

  • Make the story your own by Creating a custom character from 6 classes
  • 30+ unique recruitable characters and classes
  • Promote your characters to new classes at level 60

Save the world

It's hard to recommend this game. There are so many things that I didn't like. - Practically non-existent story apart from saving the world and slaying the next random enemy. Side quests aren't better; they're mostly composed of "fetch" and "kill x monsters" quests. - Embarrassing script that ranges from annoying (forced puns) to cringeworthy (party members using terms like "bro", "dude" or "chill" - I'm not sure if only Garrett was to blame, but that doesn't matter in the end). - Too many party members, most of them are empty husks that don't contribute anything to the story, and many of them are relatively useless in combat. - Most battles are a slog when the player doesn't overlevel the party and doesn't constantly switch those party members in that have the best multi-target elemental skills needed for the enemies currently fought. But of course, you can't simply spam these skills, since all skills have cooldowns (instead of an MP system), and some enemies like these aggravatin...

Ok finally it is on steam. I have played and followed Pixelot for years. I am currenting doing a lets play on my channel and I am having a blast. I love retro rpg and pixel graphics. This itches both perfectly. I would take this in my top 10 games of all time for sure. The graphics and jrpg gameplay, turn based battles, aoe attacks and best of all amazing character selection. The one thing I wish I could change was to have had 6 party members instead of 4 and just adjust the difficulty but that is only because I love so many classes. I cannot recommend this game enough I own it on iOS and bought it the day it released. If you like old school/retro jrpg games with massive depth and character choices you will soon join the molten core of the amazing Pixelot.

A very casual RPG, but not bad. If you are looking for a basic story, cute art style, little quips here and there, a MASSIVE cast of playable characters and a simple yet fun combat system I definitely recommend it! For such a small team, there is quite a bit of content too!

I can't recommend this game at its current state for its current price. There are quite a few bugs including one that deleted one of my best items (prisma cloak) grinding for the late game is difficult and annoying, and the controller controls are buggy. That being said, if/when this game either goes on sale or gets updated, buy it!

A charming lightweight old school RPG with plenty of dad humor. A fairly chill adventure for when you need something to play in between Dark Soul deaths or your 5th restart in BG3.

Pixelot reminds me a ton of those old school Final Fantasy games with just the right dash of modern feel to it. Definitely worth checking out!

Pixelot is very good indie turn based RPG with pixel art esthetics that manages to entertain and engage the player for the most part. The pixel art, the music and the multiple RPG mechanics come together in a beautiful, compelling, and fun way giving the player an experience that oozes personality. However, the generic aspects of the setting and story, the lack of character development, the lack of significant story moments and the excessive number of fights that the game puts you through affect the overall experience of the game. That being said, Pixelot is a love letter to classic RPGS and it’s a game that is worth checking out. For this reason, I recommend Pixelot. Reminiscent of FF6 (variety of characters with multiple backgrounds who gradually join your team/classes) and Pokemon (tall grass battles, class evolution at level 60). There is a ton of hidden chests/items and an optional Dark Tower to climb. Minimal grind and the ability to customize your character with different armor combinations is endless. The story draws you in and the subtle Easter eggs like penguins saying dude (Disgaea). Pure fun and a homage to those pioneering JRPGs of old!
