Love it. Simple rules that create complex systems. The learning curve is nice and gradual. The levels are interesting and get challenging. Most importantly, there are many many levels, so lots of game play for pretty much free.

The Penguin IQ Test ------------------------------- The Penguin IQ Test is a puzzle game that has an Interesting Idea, and concept for a game and I dig it. The Music works for the title. The Graphics are simple and they almost remind me of an old ascii game, but not quite that old and basic lol The UI is also basic but it works. The game has Lots of achievements I dig that. Sometimes a delay triggering end of level and popping the achievement occurs, but this happens with some other steam games too. At first I felt The pink arrows can feel op at times but the tick count was a good counter measure. Sometimes they are slight delays in snapping items to the grid, or they take multiple times to snap. Other than those few hang ups, The game has charm in its gameplay. The puzzles are fun, And I like watching it play out. I didn't encounter any bugs in 2 hours of gameplay. Sure the graphics are Ancient, but the gameplay is still cool. The Penguin IQ Test is not actually an IQ test, but a challenging puzzle game, where the player has to guide a penguin character through a vast magnitude of two-dimensional maps to freedom. The task is always, to move the penguin from a starting point to a certain end point. Movement is directed with several kinds of arrows: permanent, temporary, rotating and direction-inverting. The player has to place the arrows on the map and then let the penguin run the parcours, watching events unfold like a rube-goldberg machine. This is similar to a programming game, but without actually having to write code: The sequence of the penguin's moves is encoded by the arrows on the map instead. Often, there are objects to interact with: Blocks to fill water or lava pits and to activate pressure plates, buttons and pressure plates to open doors, machinery to push blocks and even NPCs that will also follow arrows and remove trees or rocks blocking the path. Gameplay is thankfully 300x better than the graphics. This game is basically about instructing a penguin how to navigate levels and activate switches and so on. It works neatly, and is fun to fool around with. If you heard of the game Robozzle, this one is kind of similar. It gets complicated, by the way! I found it to be well worth my time. Don't even think about the price, which is ridiculously low.

This game is well worth the low price tag. Interesting puzzle mechanics, good variety of levels, and a handful of challenge style achievements. Kudos to Paul Demanze for a fun product!

Amazing game to play when you are bored. UI is good aswell. Controls are also very easy to understand! Would Recommend!

Super cool puzzle game where you have to place arrows to get around the blocks and get to the exit. the game gets more challenging after lv15, if your a huge fan of challenging puzzle game then you should definitely buy it.

The puzzles are really well-thought-out and challenging. It makes you really think and plan how to get the penguin out of the room. Each level is progressive and adds fun and interest to the game. It's great that the mechanics is easily understandable and that it has clean and simple UI, it's so user-friendly. It's also amazing that there's a community workshop and you can also make your own puzzle levels. It's an absolutely worthwhile enjoyable game for those who love puzzle games!
