Sadly, this one isn't exactly a looker. While the premise of a pandemic management would've come up in gaming, sooner or later, this one fails to deliver on quality and gameplay. As of writing, you may only play as USA, and it is very limited in terms of visual gameplay and quality. Menus, options, the actual flow of the game - just not worth it.

About This Game
Based on realistic models to calculate the evolution of a virus and the opinions and actions of the public, Quarantine simulates a real-life experience in the political/pandemic games. With the ability to fine tune each and every detail, you can make your policies as specific as you would like.
We all think that we could have handled this pandemic better, but is this really true? Trying to balance economics, death, and ratings, you will find that keeping everyone safe and happy is a tough job. Having to handle questions like canceling Christmas or spending money on unemployment benefits instead of vaccine research, this game will throw curveballs at you and let you find out what decisions you would have made if you were in power, all while trying not to catch the virus yourself.

Not a bad concept, just not configured very well in my opinion to set up things as I would have done them (basically the Swedish way (take your own risk but with manditory N95 public mask wearing and manditory vaccination once available. Plus only U.S. as a current option was also a negative in my opinion.
Its affordable and entertaining. But it is hard to know where you stand in the game and figure out to play it correctly. Idk maybe im missing something but several things are not very clear on what to do about switching from scientist to HHS, etc. its iight
Fun Game for those who like simulation/econ/political type game like Democracy 3, Plague Inc, or China: Mao's Legacy. Definitely worth it for under $10 if this is your kind of genre. I played through half a dozen times trying different combinations of social policy like masking, and Covid Testing vs. Vaccination research.
Good game, had fun playing it.
It is a good game. I spent around an hour or two playing it. It does have a few bugs and on my third game it broke and went into the negatives. For the price it's a challenging in-depth game. It's worth it.
Good game to pass the time. Plays like Pandemic. Couple slight curve balls of a learning curve, but still makes you want to see if you can do better than the politicians. Which chances are, yes. lol
worse plague inc, save up for it
I applaud the effort gone into the making of this game as I sometimes really felt I was in charge of controlling a country amidst the pandemic. However, upon playing by the end of 2021 you will see MANY unrealistic points which will totally break your immersion. Vaccination and case spread definitely need to be updated if this still wants to be a valid product. My 25-34 got to 100% vaccination first for some reason, even if I opened the vaccine exclusively to 65+ year olds. Some drastic changes take too long to show up while some minor changes can double your case number in a week. The game would also benefit from sound effects and background music. At this stage it just looks like a half-finished game in some aspects.
