Took another chance on yet another Gnomes Garden game for fifty cents and I'm liking it a lot so far. Will be updating this review as I progress as usual. This one is kind of like Lost King so far but different at the same time. EDIT: As I have finally got back to playing this game again, it's come to my attention that the difficulty has bumped up big time. You have to play each level quite a few times in order to know exactly how to complete it. I do like this about the game but the learning curve is quite steep. EDIT(again): Well after completing 25 levels or so, it must be known that the difficulty has once again been bumped up, but this time, it's INSANE! You HAVE to use the guides for each level now because when you don't, GOOD, LUCK!

About This Game
They don't see each other often, but regularly write to each other. These are usually friendly letters about fun celebrations in their kingdoms, the first snow, a nephew's birthday or the building of a new city. However, this letter was completely different to the ones before.
The messenger that delivered it was scruffy and out of breath and this was something the Gnome Queen found strange.
""What happened?"" the Queen asked. ""Your cloak is torn and your face is scratched up as if you ran through thick thorn bushes.""
""That's exactly what happened, Your Majesty,"" the messenger replied.
""What for?"" the Queen asked in surprise. ""Caravans and messengers haven't used that road for ages. No one actually uses that road. We have an excellent road going around it.""
""It would take a lot more time to go around.""
""What's the hurry?""
""Well, this isn't just a letter, Your Majesty. I had to deliver it as quickly as possible. There's an important message from the Harpy Queen there.""
The Queen thanked the messenger and sent him to get some rest after his long road and started to read the letter from the Harpy Queen. Here is what she wrote.
""My dear friend!
I am asking you for help because I have no one else to rely on. A terrible thing happened in my kingdom. Someone sent a huge tornado against us. I suspect that it was the Sea Overlord, who has been an enemy for a long time. The tornado has already destroyed the houses of the fishermen on the shore and is now quickly blowing towards the city. I know that gnomes have technologies known to no one else. I would be really grateful if you and your subjects help me avert disaster.
You're my only hope!
Your loyal friend,
The Harpy Queen
The Gnome Queen immediately ordered for a ship to be prepared to sail to the lands of the Harpies. There's a long and dangerous adventure ahead, but what wouldn't you do for your friend?

Can good triumph? Will the Gnome Queen manage to help the Harpy Queen and come back home?

Gnomes Garden: Return Of The Queen is a tablet clicker/ripoff of the "12 Labors Of Hercules" clickers. Click on various resources/obstacles on each map until the level is done. Much like the Hercules games this is aping, There's no real gameplay or meaningful decision making, even though, much like the Hercules games, it's pretending to be a resource management game, it's not. The graphics aren't as good as 12 Labors either, so there's a second fail The shady developer behind this valueless shovelware has proven to be a persistent nuisance abusing Steam Direct... they've dumped over a hundred valueless mobile app tier asset flips onto Steam, many featuring plagiarised/stolen stock art and other unethical, shady behaviours. The developer, Creobit/8Floor, has copy + pasted this particular game, with minor reskins, an insane THIRTY TWO TIMES onto Steam... why cash in on one asset if you can cash in on multiple copies of the same game? Asset flipping begins at home! Here's a list o...
SKIP this game if you'd like to collect all trophies since there is a bug that prevents you from getting all of them. Game is interesting enough and is not difficult at all, even in the most difficult mode. However, the screen is a bit too busy/crowded -- I did spend a lot of time on searching the needed objects, such as bee hives, lamps , etc. To me, the most annoying part is that I didn't get the complete all levels with 3 stars in most difficult mode trophy even I did do so. Due to that missing trophy, I also did not get the trophy for receiving all trophies. As another player who mentioned the same problem, I also have two profiles (one for classic mode and one for hard mode) -- I don't know if this causes the missing trophy problem, but I plan to erase both profiles and replay the game with just the hard mode to see if I can get all trophies. I'd like to give this game a neutral rating, but Steam does not offer this option. UPDATE: Deleted all profiles, started a new one and s...
Having a lot of fun with this. 8Floor has put in some new mechanics and the levels are much longer. I routinely upgrade most of the buildings. I did run into one slight issue though - if you're going for all of the achievements, be sure to go into settings and put the difficulty on hard. One of the achievements is for completing all levels with three stars on hard. If you finish the game on normal, then change it to hard, all of your levels still show complete. I'm having to keep track of which levels I've replayed as hard while I try to get that final achievement. Edit: I installed the game on a 2nd computer, set the difficulty to hard, and got 3 stars on every level. Unfortunately it didn't trigger the last achievement. If anyone knows how to get that last achievement, please let me know.
