Garbage AI and there is nothing tactical about it. Worst Siege game
i thought people were exaggerating when talking shit about this game because it doesnt look THAT bad at a glance. it just looks like a generic 7th gen piss filter shooter, which is what i wanted from it. and i just thought people were hating because it wasnt rainbow 3. but it is really THAT shit. the menu had me fooled at first as it had that old 2000s charm look, sound design and music to it. made me feel nostalgic even though i never played the game. but the gameplay is just terrible. they tried mixing arcade cod-like gameplay with contemporary, what was at the time considered "realistic" "tactical" gameplay (ie. your top of the world tier 1 operator cannot move and shoot at the same time or control a 3 round burst of 556 before his arthritis riddled joints fail and he collapses from muscle atrophy and dies. rainbow 3 was like that too.). The mix doesnt work at all, as both the friendly and hostile AI is incredibly rudimentary, inept and stupid ( as it has always been in rainbow ...
This game had potential to be cool and tactical like other Rainbow releases, yet the game is numbed down into a easy point and shoot game. Your team AI is dumber than a goldfish (Hostages are even dumber), you can't change who you play, and you have to stand still to peak??? Not to mention the bugs that come with this game. Resolution Problems, Mission bugs, etc... Only thing good about this game, is the maps i guess, and the new ability which is a sledge hammer to breach open doors
