I have 15+ painting programs ranging from free to the most expensive Corel Painter 2021 which is about $450. Out of ALL of these programs PD Howler has the very most capabilities out of all of them put together. The others I just play around with, and then do "real painting" with PD... There are so many options, in fact, almost too many! My favorite thing is painting with particles! One can produce fantastic artwork without even being an artist using the particle brushes! I started out with Project Dogwaffle with version 1, and still use PD Howler (old name was Dogwaffle). There is just NOTHING that can out perform PD, not even Corel Painter... it doesn't even come close! PD is priced so low, and does so much! I recommend PD to anyone who does digital artwork. I give it 10 out of 10 stars! Don't even waste your time buying the "other ones"! I now have 2 XP-Pen display tablets, the 22" and 12" ones, and they work fantastic with PD. You should buy PD for sure!!!
