There are creators whose imagination reaches extraordinary levels and this is the case with Cocoon, which is constituted by a very intriguing mixture with elements of flaura, fauna and exotic alien tech. All these characteristics compose a peculiar beautiful world where you must find your way through some mind blowing puzzles which increase in difficulty as you progress towards the end of the path. As far as i am concerned i enjoyed the game a lot! Its design is incredible hands down. Furthermore there is some good music and the graphics are minimalistic though impressive. However i felt some fatigue during the final stages due to the fact the puzzles had become too complicated, nevertheless there is no doubt you should try it!

I've played countless puzzle games since the 90s, and this is by far the best pure puzzle game I've ever played.
I don't think I've ever been so disappointed by a game I would still recommend. I was hoping for a really mind-bending puzzle game with in-depth mechanics and clever problem solving, and this was not it. What Cocoon is, is a linear adventure game with progress gated by one-off puzzles. The entire game felt like an on-rails adventure with the game hand-holding me at every step. Every single puzzle gives you exactly the tools you need, no more, no less. As soon as an object, platform, sphere, etc. serves its purpose, it is discarded, locked away, or blocks you from backtracking, giving you no room to make mistakes. Spheres can only be placed in specific locations, and can only be entered/exited through specific locations, meaning almost every puzzle is instantly given away by where those pedestals and interactive objects are. I spent more time in this game just getting the spheres into the right positions than actually thinking about the solutions. I think an apt comparison is Portal, ...
In a word, exquisite! This was a wonderful puzzler, that kept the balance of lots of balls in the air without becoming bogged down and slow. The visuals and music bring a lot of life to the world, or should I say worlds, and kept me engaged and interested throughout. I will absolutely come back to this game to try to 100% it.
Very few puzzle games have the sauce. This one does. Play it.
a four hour game that uses one button shouldn't be as deep as this. very very cool little puzzle game that kinda sits on par with portal in difficulty, in that you have exactly everything you need (no red herrings) and some VERY satisfying solutions. i'm not sure how i'd have felt about it had i not got it on sale but this is absolutely worth your time
This is a really beautiful, really clever, really well-built short little puzzle game. It does a fantastic job speaking without words, showing you how mechanics work and interact seamlessly through exploration and discovery. The environments are surreal, beautiful, and fascinating, and the design of the game does a great job preventing you from getting stuck (for better and for worse). Although I really love the core puzzle mechanic about recursively nesting the levels, but a lot of the puzzles that don't use that mechanic have the problem that really bothers me in puzzle games: Many of the puzzles in the first 3/4 of the game can be solved by simply taking the only available action until the puzzle is solved. The game goes to such great lengths to prevent you from backtracking, taking wrong paths, or taking any incorrect action by just removing any option that doesn't progress the current puzzle a lot of the time, which means that much of the time there is exactly one possible action...
This game had no business being THAT good...... the games length is honestly okay, but the quality is chef's kiss🤌🏼
Fun little exploration/puzzle/vibe game- lasted last than ten hours even getting every secret/achievement, which is par for the course for these types of games, but it was actually really quite good. Looked beautiful and the music was especially great- almost Gris-level. Didn't pay full price, but wouldn't have regretted it if I had.
A very fun game with very few buttons, interesting mechanics and a wonderful art style
