Experience a heart-wrenching love story between Antea Duarte and Red mac Raith. When Antea is killed and turned into a spirit, you find yourself facing a choice. Your decisions will shape the fate of New Eden’s inhabitants - may they be living or dead, and determine the end of your journey.

  • BLAME the living and sacrifice their lives, holding them responsible for their actions
  • BANISH souls of the departed, condemning them to eternal suffering

Banishers are specialized in combat against undead creatures, such as specters or ghosts. Combine Red's physical arsenal with Antea's supernatural powers in a dynamic combat system. Find your own style by mixing weapon attacks and spiritual abilities. Powerful synergies will lead you to defeat New Eden’s most dangerous enemies and bosses.

Unleash the full power of the Banishers by unlocking new gear and supernatural abilities. By exploring New Eden, you will find ancient artifacts, trinkets and valuable resources to enhance your equipment in preparation of future fights. In addition to your arsenal, progress in Antea’s skill trees to upgrade her devastating spectral powers and unseal new combos.

Investigate haunting cases in a mystical world full of dark secrets. Discover New Eden, a North America settlement marked by terrible stories and secrets of its tormented inhabitants. Understanding each resident’s motivations will be essential to guide your decisions throughout the game.

The main storyline seems good, but there's a lot of slog to get through it. Art style is pretty decent. Exploration is kinda hard to enjoy, and the combat is just plain dull. It's a very big map with a lot of metroidvania style blocks. It takes forever to get the abilities to even begin to properly clearing areas, and getting around to do it takes a lot of time too. Boss encounters are kinda alright, but the rest of the combat is just super repetitive. It's based on stats and levels more than on any actual skills too, so if you started the wrong activity, you'll just get overwhelmed eventually and lose 20 minutes. The side stories are not very interesting or even always coherent. It feels like the words are often technically well written, but the character motivations, reactions and interactions feel way off. There's a choice system where at the end of each small arc, and some character reactions are just very awkward to fit the mechanics. Voice acting is kinda good in isolation, but...

A little conflicted about this one: 1. The story is excellent 2. Graphics is great 3. I love the concept as well. Feels like this is how they should do Supernatural game if there is one 4. Voice acting is amazing. Second game that I played where a Scotman is an MC and it just works. Accent is great :) 2 drawbacks in my opinion: 1. fights are massively repetitive and predictable. 2. the story development is a little slow until the first first actual boss fight (Scourge) Overall, I would recommend playing this if you are here for a story

A good story that doesn't make full use of its time period and setting. I often felt I was talking to modern people with a light vernier of old timey words mixed in. But, the part that really killed it for me was the backtracking and combat. The world is a maze that's frequently difficult to traverse without getting lost. The difficulty traversing the world is a pain and It's made worse by frequent traversals marked with yellow paint and numerous combat arenas. Enemies in these arenas level scale, respawn endlessly, and cannot be skipped (slowing you down when you're just trying to pass through). It's a shame that it's not a pleasant experience because the game is structured for players to go back to previously explored areas for new side quests and to access ability locked areas and chests. Combat is fun but overstays its welcome with the endless respawns and limited enemy variety.

While it may be hard to forgive the vanilla combat, pacing inconsistency, and RPG filler at times, I have never played a game that where every piece of dialouge and every character (including each NPC) was so well considered that each moment felt beatifully grounded in the soil of its context. It is one of the most embodied scripts I have ever come across.

This game at it's core is a wonderful thing. The gameplay is similar to the newer GOW series with a unique twist. There are two main characters and you switch between them seamlessly in gameplay and certain enemies require you to use one or the other or both at different times. The skills are interesting and so is the main story premise. I do have some personal nitpicks though regarding the way the game presents Christians and Christianity. This game uses the Bible for some lore but not a single "Christian" in the game displays the characteristics Jesus Christ called us to. Speaking of which, there is no mention of Jesus Christ despite using Bibles as models in game and there are no crosses. Antea also takes a very odd anti-marriage stance. It's like the developers intentionally are misrepresenting what Christianity is about to make a point. IDK I just personally feel alienated by this odd ideological stance and subliminal messaging the devs put in the game when they could have kept ...

It's an interesting and good game. It's neither too long nor too short; I'd say its length is perfect because it's not tiring, but it also has a good storyline and isn't too short. Overall, it's an action game that focuses primarily on the story but also offers the player additional quests, which are entirely optional, although I think they're worth completing because they contribute to the story. The combat system and story are well-constructed, though not overly complex. The game itself isn't a "AAA" title, so there are some budget cuts, but they're minor. Overall, the game itself is very good, and I don't see any complaints or major issues. Therefore, I can wholeheartedly recommend this title to anyone who enjoys RPGs.

A good 7/10 game sometimes it feels off but the best moments are the story moments and the boss fights I would be excited for a sequel but it didn't sale well never the less it had a interesting setting but it feels like we caught a tail end of a story instead of a beginning of one.

Excellent. Well worth your money. Russ Bain, the voice of Red, alone makes it worth your money. What a performance.

If you can live with a lot of invisible walls and have the time to explore and listen to a lot of dialogue I highly recommend this game. The graphics is absolutely gorgeous and the world is beautiful and consistent even though you might need a powerful graphics card. I'm not a native English speaker but my impression is that a lot of work was put into the language of the game to make it authentic. If you have the time and patience this game is a real treat with a lot of engaging smaller and larger stories and a believable beautiful world.
