'Ultra Imposer' is a retro-looking Shoot ‘Em Up that puts gameplay ahead of anything else. Don't get me wrong, while low-poly it looks good with black and neon colours giving it a Tron world style. It's very easy to play with one controller moving the ship about and the other aiming the guns. The good news is the game is fun to play and offers quite an exciting little game if you like this style, but it could do with some improvements like a high score, a level select and maybe gamepad support would have also been nice. For now, it is playable, enjoyable and cheap and gets the thumbs up from me. Sure, it isn't exactly original, but it is fun to play and at this price point that is all that counts. In an alternate universe somewhere, this is 1982 and VR is popular in arcades. Instead of Tempest, Galaga, and Star Wars, Ultra Imposer is the classic of the day, which has lots of the great elements of the 3 forementioned games. It's that good. Bravo to the dev - hopefully in that alternate universe, you get paid well for this astounding effort.
