Fun little Rythm game. The story is all over the place and drags on a bit too long. The textboxes stay too long and the characters like to run the jokes for too long. I had a few good laughs, but this game is about the gameplay, the music, the rythm and how it feels to play! The music is nice, it has many clean tracks that are nice to play and jam with. However the rythm part....? The automatic calibration thing just doesn't work correctly. I did it multiple times, everytime with totally different results and none of which felt good. I even tried fiddling with it manually, but nothing seems right. The automatic stuff had results ranging from 100ms to 20ms. Even though I am sure I am always clicking the same spot. I settled at 40ms in the end. I don't know why this feels so weird, but not a single other rythm game felt that far off until now. I just can't seem to hit the right spots. This game only uses 2 buttons + 1 dodge button and I am used to 6 buttons + 2 bonus buttons inbetween....

If you're into strict rhythm games, like Rhythm Heaven or Bits and Bops, this is probably for you. It's not minigame-based, as it's a little more akin to those phone piano apps, but on steroids. However, missing most hits doesn't stop you from completing the game (though you only get 5 or 6 missed dodges. Health regenerates every 20 combo), so you can get through all levels fairly easy. 100% is a little more difficult, requiring you to have knowledge of each song and quick fingers as at a minimum, it requires 7-staring (1 complete, 3 combo, 3 score) all but like 5-ish levels, and the later levels get pretty insane. The bonus levels are great as introductory rhythm studies, as you have things like 16th note studies, paradiddle studies, and a song called "Arrhythmic" that really tests your timing Definitely make sure to adjust your calibration - I find that even if you're accurate to how you hear and see it, it's still off by 5-10 ms one way or another. I think the calculations fo...
Got this during the sale and I really want to like this game but the optimization is so bad and the calibration doesn't benefit anything despite i hit the keys correctly.. there would be small lags in between songs causing me to lose the beat and even on beat, it doesn't hit :/ As the rest of the negatives reviews say, it has potential but lack what rhythm players want.. (like phantom key press, just randomly mash the buttons while waiting gives a little stim before seeing the actual keys come down)
buy this, if you like music and like to fun have with it, buy this game. its funny and it has a good story
