Ghostwire: Tokyo is a gorgeous game, with a pretty cool Artistic Direction blending Japanese Mystical Folklore with Cyberpunk, the gameplay feels totally OK... Yet I won't keep playing it as it's pretty much *just* another Open World Action Game like Farcry. Lot of collectibles, boring content, it's not bad if you like this kind of game... I'm just tired of it. It's on me, I should have read the reviews before buying it.

Actually so farts, i've never seen such a shallow story. I was intruiged by the graphics so i bought it but its so unbelievably boring..
I like it. Main game offers a good enough story, fluent satisfying combat, good enemy variety and a very detailed, gorgeous world/map. This huge, yet "empty" city has its own unique atomsphere. You can pet dogs and cats, the dogs can even be fed - love it. Japanese voice actors are great. Only 25Gb! Spider Thread Update / Mode: Brings in some new stuff to the main game but most importantly, brings in a new "game mode". As a huge fan of "survival, endless, horde modes", I enjoyed that even more than the main game. Brings in some new skills, beads, etc. You can challenge yourself with various combinations here - like "how far can I get with Iron Beads - one hit run", etc.. I think only like 35hrs or so are from main game, rest is just "Spider Thread Mode". Recommended!
Game is listed as Steam Deck verifired. But it's not. Makeing it run on Steam is a nightmare. Crashes or freeze every time. I was able to run it ONCE, but after exiting the game, no luck. Shame - game looks beautiful. Has unique vibe. But is not playable.
I really really liked the idea... I mean, I watched the trailer and was "Ohhh yess....yesss...this seems GOOD". No! The premise is good, very engaging. But that is the end of the excitment. 1. You are in an open map, which happens to be fogged up... You can't go everywhere, until it is cleared. So, you get a large map, but it is just walking around picking stuff up and encountering the same enemies. This is it. I mean that is the game! 2. It looks unfinished. Animations are not polished and looks like something was just thrown out of the gate just to release it. 3. There is a story, but omg it feels so devoid of sense. 4. I feel I am ALONE on the map. It is just me and myself and I. I didn't think you could make something this solitary... I would think if you go for this feeling, then maybe try to make me feel some connection with the main character or the sidekick through the story? I dunno... this is the biggest flop I think. I feel alone in the world and that is it...
the most aggressively mid game I ever played, is really fun at first but quickly becomes repetitive and boring and the story is not good
Great game overall. The combat system and upgrade are top notch. The story is simple but quite good. The roster is large and challenging. The PC optimization could be improved though. Overall a really good game! And you get cats as shopkeepers, what more can you ask !!
Domain expansion: testicular torsion
This game is an absolute beauty from the graphics to the story telling to the attention to detail in Japanese folklore. I cannot stress this enough. This game is worth the money and time to complete.
I have really liked the setting, the graphics and the world building, would love to have another part!
