Nobody has reviewed this since launch, so I'll give it a go. This is my first review here at Steam, keep that in mind. Hopefully it can help someone decide if it's worth them laying down their hard earned money. The core gameplay of BGB is fantastic. The deck building is balanced, there's a wide variety of opponents to duel, there's room for divergent strategies. A lot of care has been put into that part of the game, it really shows, and it makes it a blast to play. The dungeon/environmental part of the game is also done well. Basically, the deckbuilding is the main course, but to stop it from being potentially monotonous, the game gives you dungeons to walk through to contextualise the battling, but also to make the game deeper and not so uni-dimensional. So many games mess this idea up. Crappy side scrolling shooters in point-and-clicks, puzzles in visual novels...the basic idea is good, breaking up the essential part of the game with little diversions, but man, many games screw i...

Surprisingly good! currently in second dungeon but im enjoying the fights. Nice, neat, polished little game with fun card battles. If you are into this kinds of games definitely give it a try.
It's prety nice game, movement took a bit of getting used to at first but after that ended up liking it quite a bit actually.
Protag looks cheap and ugly, but the game concept, monsters, everything else is nice and decent. Got enjoyment playing this
Fantastic game, highly recommended! Help a cute little goat find his goatnapped friend and explore a magnificient, beautifully illustrated world. I'm not really into deckbuilding games, but I found this to one to have a very accessible game play, awesome music, and beautifully animated goats. I love the RPG aspects and interactive elements. The story and dialogues are very witty and the entire game exhibits a lot of attention to detail, making it a very enjoyable experience. I cannot wait for the developers to release more adventures and additional content.
It's a fun little game. Characters are funny and the card system has some potential. Worth to give a try!
Game feels more like a demo than a full product. Good concepts, just needs refining and more playtesting.
So, I was on the fence about buying a game where you play as a tiny goat with a deck of cards... but wow, am I glad I did! Baby Goat Billy is the perfect mix of "aww, cute goat" and "oh, strategic brainpower activated." Sure, itās simple, but sometimes thatās exactly what you want: a fun, unique card game where you wander around in 3D as your adorable goat avatar, battling foes with your well-planned deck. Itās well worth the price, and honestly, who knew playing a goat could be this much fun? Highly recommend!
good game
Very cute and surprisingly decent card battler. Quite addicting, well balanced, perfect for a pair of evenings.
