Cookie Store

This game was a lot of fun, the way the characters play off of one another. Only issue I saw was that the character arcs were too short, ending just when things got interesting. I wanted more; lots more.

-Didn't care for the story very much -Simple minigame simulating financial progress found boring and unneeded. -Mini games Match 3 but they dont drop down. They stay where they're at after matching 3. -Art is nice

Cookie Store is a mostly kinetic, slice of life visual novel. I enjoyed it overall since there were moments that definitely made me laugh and I really enjoyed the various character arcs, the romance in those arcs was quite cute, with each character distinguishing herself in her own arc. However I wasn't a big fan of some of the tropes used during the common path, like the trope about chest insegurity where this game didn't do anything new with it. At least they could have been more mature about it. And the other thing I wasn't a fan of, was the match three minigame during the common path. This game added some different rules to it, to make more difficult but I personally didn't feel it added anything special to the game in my honest opinion. Apparently you can get different endings of the common path, based on how well you do with the minigame but that is about it. You don't need it for the character arcs, so that is a plus. So yeah, that is my review of the game. An overall enjoyable...
