Mango is a super surreal walking simulator adventure game where you experience all sorts of completely insane environments and solve minor puzzles to advance the levels and find out more of the story. The story is told primarily through texts as you read discovered diary notes and click on items to receive thought texts. The game took exactly 6 hours to finish 100%, 5 hours for the main story and 1 extra hour to clear up the achievements during a post game level select. + The environments are completely insane in this game. Heavy on the psychedelic visuals. There is nothing else quite like this in the whole Steam store. It just doesn't let up. Other games try but this game dials the craziness up to 11 and keeps it there for the full 5 hours. Pure acid trip. Try to play on Ultra Graphic settings, it makes a difference seeing everything sharp and crisp. + The music in this game is also fun and highly original, from techno to electronic smooth jazz, all awesome. + The level select af...

About This Game
Mango is a surrealist first-person adventure/puzzle game about art and derealization, featuring
* trippy, psychedelic visuals
* intense psychological and philosophical undertones
* fragmented, lore-rich storytelling
* experimental horror elements
* and last but not least, an overarching feeling of NEVER knowing what to expect.
It explores the idea of a mind losing its grasp with reality, as reality turns into a dream, and that dream turns into a nightmare. It has an off-kilter tone that can shift from overly chill to downright scary. Often it resembles an acid trip, or an interactive fever dream.
The game contains ~8 hours of gameplay with lots of freaky action, even more freaky fashion, deconstructed urban landscapes and/or dreamscapes, existential angst, questionable parenting, a bit of driving, and a fair load of straight-up madness.
It has been described as simultaneously dadaist and hyper-realist in nature, both alien and also deeply human, as well as the story of a life, filtered through the eyes of the mind.
Also, it has been described as WEIRD as hell ;)

This game is an absolute fever dream and I´m loving it. It´s LSD combined with Shrooms and a little Weed. The story so far, well... I don´t know what it´s about, maybe I´ll figure it out. ...before I´m getting a psychosis caused by this masterpiece
This first-person exploration title is one hell of a ride! It seems as though it aims to disorient, but through the noise, there is a pervasive visual beauty. It is an ODYSSEY, too; it's a lot lengthier than most games of this type. What's actually going on is a bit incomprehensible, and less in an "open to interpretation" way than in a "goes back and forth" kind of way, but I'm here for the journey, so that wasn't a dealbreaker for me. There were a few parts that were a little frustrating in terms of gameplay or figuring out what to do (the latter could absolutely be a me problem), but overall, I loved this, and would highly recommend it if you're into this sort of thing.
interesting game, creative visuals. i feel like it didn`t need any of the enemies in there tho since they`re kinda changing the vibe too much? overall still a fun experience so go for it (:
Finished the game. What a crazy ride lol. Hats off to devs for creativity. I actually found that super secret on the
Target
would have never expected that.
