As for early access, the game is enjoyable and playable. For now there are only missions available, with sandbox in the roadmap. The dev is actively responding to the players' suggestions and is totally open with his plans and assignments in progress. As for the game itself, it's a classic city builder in the spirit of old Sierra games like Caesar, Zeus, etc. The graphics are neat and building is very intuitive. I recommend it to any city builders fan, and hope that the dev keeps doing his good job.

City building in this game is easy if you want to just get through, but can be difficult when trying to get absolutely perfect. There is a calm and peaceful atmosphere to the game that I am becoming very fond of. I do recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable city-builder RTS.

Cute little city builder. So far (scenario 6 complete) it has been pretty casual, a little slow at times. There are some speed adjustments, but everything still seems to go by very slowly. The quests that come along definitely help with cashflow for building and add a small amount of difficulty if you aren't ready for what they throw at you. The graphics are pretty cartoonish. The mechanics are straight-forward if you play a lot of these sort of sim games. (Banished, RimWorld, etc) I dislike the one view camera. You can't rotate at all. The play areas - even in sandbox - are prohibitively small. Buildings autoface pre-built roads with no option to change the orientation. However, the pips seem to walk through the walls anyhow so I guess it doesn't matter a whole lot which way the building is facing. All the help and tips for a level come at the beginning, so if you don't pay attention you're out of luck as the mission goes on. This is a good game to just chill and dump some time into....

A great little city builder, I really like the design and buildings, reminds me of games like caesar 3 and Pharaoh that I used to play. I really enjoyed this game and cant wait to see what's added next.

While this game is an Early Access and there are some inconvenient aspects due to that, it's a fairly polished game. With the latest patch of a sandbox mode, which is my favorite, it gives you options for both a goal oriented game and a funzies game. The Developer is very hands-on and communicative with the community. In my opinion the game is more than worth the price.

Really nice small indie game! I can see a lot of work has been put in this one, and it's still in development so I expect even more! The developer publishes updates quite often so bugs aren't really a problem (some of them might even give an advantage - goodbye double money I'll miss you).

I like the game a lot. It's still being improved which is awesome and I enjoy the scenarios.

Glory of Rome is a very complete city-building game. As a player, you have to build and manage an extremely interconnected web of supply and demand of resources and citizens. On top of that, the people physically transport the resources to a business, market, storage or their homes, adding a new dynamic to it all. I’m having a lot of fun planning my Roman cities! If you’re into city-building games, you definitely want to try Glory of Rome.
