This is the best game to ever existed. Cookie Clicker has taken over my life within college and at work, my mates have told me to stop playing it but no gotta keep on grinding to beat this forsaken game.

Please refer to my hours played. The game will consume you if you let it, but it's genuinely excellent. The grandpappy of the idle game genre that's never really been surpassed. Every successor is a pale imitation. More eloquent people than I have already spent hours waxing lyrical on its many virtues. I'm just gonna tell you to play it.

I have been a filthy Cookie Clicker addict since the dawn of time (2013). My save is old enough that the game says I started "a long while ago" because my save was created before it tracked creation time. I earned Neverclick by accident because I started my save before he added achievements, and one day I got it for free because Orteil didn't track previous clicks in an ascension on load. In the halcyon year of 2014, I had the pleasure of watching the game go massively viral, and having the most cookies clicked of anyone at school by many orders of magnitude (because I had like a year head start). I chatted with Orteil on /vg/ back when he was cool. I watched him slowly devolve into a spineless weenie over a decade, disavowing the 4channers who made him who he was, replacing the Business Day Pepe with Nyancat, and eventually fleeing to the industrial-grade hugbox asylum of Blu*sky. no micro crap, all numbers go up, no advertising , no stupid mechanics to make player spend more money on game. Just pure idle game fun without real world annoyances

At the time of writing this review, I've owned this game for approximately 8 and a half days. Its alright I guess, but man do I love cookies.
