About This Game

Desolation - End of Days is a side scroller fighting game. The game offers a fast paced, casual gameplay that puts players in a post-apocalyptic world where infection turned most of the population into a flesh craving monsters.

With poly style graphics, the game offers a nostalgic look and feel as players take on patrols, manage their own survivors camp. Earning resources that can be spent on upgrading the buildings, which in return will unlock new characters with new arsenal with fighting styles.

I have played similar beat'em ups before but this one, somehow, manages to bore me a lot. The levels are too long or the intermezzo between the fights manages to disrupt the gameplay. Everything is repetitive, no strategy whatsoever, the ranged guns are useless in the first part of the game, at least. All you have to do is position the right way the character and then keep pressing kick button. I love beat'em ups but this one is a game to stay away, even at very low prices. The in-game resources you are getting are used for opening access to new characters but the gameplay remains the same, position yourself without enemies on your back and keep pushing the kick button. If it would have been an early access I would have understood but this way this is a bad game, too bad the graphics are nice and it is quite obvious they put some time into it.
