As a math nerd, I love it. I’m happy that there’s finally a quick game I can play to relax that still makes me think instead of just brainlessly push buttons and swipe. This is what this genre should be.

About This Game
You need to quickly and cleverly place the arithmetic symbols according to the scene.
The experience of the game is very similar to the 24 point game played when I was a child (part of the inspiration comes from this), but this work has different variability and stimulation.
The game itself has no level, only two modes, rush mode and survival mode, which are randomly generated levels.
There is no levels in the game, but you can pursue higher scores, and unlock some new stuff while playing.
Put the constant and calculator on the panel, and the calculator will automatically calculate the upper left and upper right numbers. Your goal is to work out a specific number to defeat the monster!

Played on Steam Deck. Army of Numbers feels like a puzzle game that has been filtered down to basics that should feel unoriginal, but somehow it come across as the grandfather of what a good puzzle game should be! The rush mode is a bit off for me, but the Survival mode is such a good puzzle! Since there are only 4 rows that is only 3 chances to operate so the numbers themselves are just the medium for the puzzle; the challenge isn't in solving any actual math but planning moves in advance to find the best path to get to your goal. When it gets down to RNG that is definitely a turn off even when the numbers you need come up! I had waves where the next 3 of 4 numbers I needed were already on the board and they just popped as completed and while I would like to say it was planned that way by having numbers created in advance, they could have just as easily been off by one. The whole point though is to mitigate this, since the field gets cluttered quickly you have to prepare by making t...
A great little game for a very small price! Quintessential "easy to learn, hard to master" The modes couldn't be simpler: in Rush, you have unlimited board resets but limited time. In Survival, you have unlimited time, but limited board resets. I'm bad at mental math, so Survival has been best for me!
I don't get it. You need to create numbers (usually with math expressions) that exactly match the enemy values. Thing is, once you throw a bunch of numbers and operators on the field it gets cluttered super quick. It's then down to sheer luck whether you can find some ways to produce the newly required numbers or not (or if they even randomly match some of your existing numbers from get-go, resulting in instakills for some enemies). You can clear the board but the button has an ever-increasing cooldown. Like I start to play and I'm doomed to fail extremely soon unless I'm randomly lucky to survive a little longer. I don't understand... What is the point? You can't possibly predict what kind of numbers you're gonna need next wave. I just fail Survival mode at around ~50 points every time when the board-clear timer is still way out of reach. Doesn't feel like I'm getting better at it either. It's like the game is theoretically designed to be winnable in almost any situation if you're ...
A fun little math and numbers game. Turn based is a brain burner that presents you with such a mess of unfolding possibilities Real time is a brutally fast attempt to rub your brain cells together and make numbers come out
Very nice casual game that actually provokes your brain (with a correct price).
Good game for playing something simple on the side while sitting in a meeting or watching a boring movie. Nothing revoluationary but worth the asking price.
Think of this game as quick way to get you mathematics brain work in.
NICE !!!
