About This Game
NEEDY STREAMER OVERLOAD is a “multi-ending ADV” depicting daily life with “OMGkawaiiAngel”, a young girl with a rather extreme need for approval attempting to become the #1 “Internet Angel” (streamer). Gradually build up OMGkawaiiAngel’s number of followers as she spends her days streaming, using various ”stress relievers”, and generally being kinda messed up. Experience all the different crazy ups and downs and find out for yourself whether this story is even capable of having a happy ending.
Turn “Ame” – somewhat of a hot mess of a girl – into an OMGWTF-cute internet angel and jumpstart her career as a live streamer for the most hardcore nerds online!

Ame:
While she may look somewhat low-key and quiet, she’s actually a ridiculously selfish and vapid girl with a tendency to get carried away and a desperate need for approval. She’s, well... kind of troublesome personality. Likes: Her S.O./producer, “P-chan”; psychotropics.
OMGkawaiiAngel:
An “internet angel”. Ame’s alter ego, used while streaming. Pretends to be really nice and sweet. Constantly flirts with nerd types.
P-chan:
Gender, age, and all details are unknown.
Or maybe it's you?
■As Ame’s beloved (???) “P-chan”,
offer daily commentary and guidance to help foster her into a top-tier streamer. Under your direction and guidance, she can amass more and more devoted listeners/obsessed fans, turning her into a super-popular streamer.– and thus allowing you to squeeze stupid amounts of Super Chat out of her donation-happy otaku followers.
■Gotta get topics for streaming!
Let's do all kinds of things from afternoon to evening to find out hot topics for streaming. Sometimes you just need to take a little break because streaming can be stressful. Take Ame on dates, serve her up a little bit of naughtiness once in awhile, provide her with a little something-something to take the edge off when she needs to release some pent-up stress, and use social media to grumble about to help keep her happy and mentally healthy.
But be careful. Depending on your actions, she might increase her "sickness level" and be swallowed by the darkness of the Internet!
*NOTE: This is a perfectly wholesome game, containing absolutely no explicit sexual references or expressions nor illegal substances. For real!
You can see the results of your daily actions and behavior via social media, where Ame-chan will use both public and private accounts to talk about you. People have a tendency to act supportive and friendly on the outside, while talking loads of smack and spreading rumors privately.
■You'll get a variety of messages every day!
Let's reply back to them with stickers. Ignoring messages is not a human thing to do. Don't make her angry.
You’ll sometimes receive long-winded, tedious criticisms and insults, but that’s just par for the course when dealing with a cute girl streaming on the internet. Be sure to take proper care of her.
■The game features multiple endings!
Your streamer will do things like become weird and emo for various reasons, subject her trusty P-chan to harm, and generally get messed up in the head. Begin your adventure and see for yourself whether a happy ending is really even possible for a cute yet disturbed girl on the modern-day internet.

Крутая игра, обожаю её и я бы вдул. Но она шалава заебала, чуть что и умирает, тварь, игра говно, я передумал
I love everything about this game. The aesthetic, Ame-chan, the soundtrack, etc. One small detail that I truly enjoy is how frustrating it is when you don't message Ame-chan back and it makes you restart the day for not giving her enough attention. I have 7 hours in this game currently and have religiously tried messaging her back each time she messages you, but there have STILL been moments where I forgot or it simply wasn't enough. This game is challenging in figuring out ways to please Ame-chan and I imagine this is truly how it feels to put up with someone with a similar mental illness. There are moments where you feel annoyed with Ame-chan, but then there are also moments where you see her being so cute, vulnerable, and lovable. I respect that Ame-chan is raw/real and you can see her at her darkest moments and in her highest (ba-dum-tss) moments.
quite possibly one of the best underlying narratives i've ever seen in a game. needy streamer overload is a fantastic indictment of the toxicity that comes with modern day online streaming culture, and the parasocial relationships that come bundled with it (on both sides). it does an excellent job of exposing how damaging said culture can be on vulnerable people like ame (even if she is a horrible person tbh), but also how it fuels her own selfish and manipulative actions in many of the different routes you can take. the gameplay is simple enough in practise but part of the fun comes from managing her stats and the content that she produces in order to see every ending. which, in itself, is its own feat-- a lot of the requirements for the different endings are so slight and niche that it really enhances the replayability--
especially the ending that requires you to turn off your own wifi connection to give ame her "happy" ending
super cute visuals befitting the ...
A compelling game about a needy girl who crafts a persona to "save" others on the internet, when in reality, she just needed to save herself.
Hence, the true ending. You cannot change someone who sees an issue in their actions. Ame realizes she no longer needs the internet, "P-Chan," and other enablers of her bad habits.
It's great as long as you read the warning to make sure none of the things mentioned could affect you mentally or physically!
I sort of have mixed feelings about this game. I think the direction, the art, and the idea is quite interesting. There's a lot to be said about the dangers of a young, mentally distressed girl going into the streaming space to try and become popular. And I think it does an okay job at depicting some of those dangers. But if I'm being honest, the game can be monotonous. There are 27 endings, and you get these endings through varying means. I think my issue is that the payoffs for the endings feel a bit... hollow? To me? Something feels missing; a lot of the endings take a while to reach, and give you about 5 minutes worth of content. The pacing of the game is generally something that bothers me as well. The 'stream' sections on default settings are slooooooow. You'll hear the main character say something to the stream, and then legitimately wait 10 seconds in between each comment that pools in, which often don't add too much narratively. Even when you crank the speed up, it almost fe...
This game is sooooooo peak. It has a really distinct style in terms of the visuals, animation, art and music which i really enjoy, while also keeping an incredibly engaging story the entire time. The sheer amount of different endings and possibilities in this game really show the insane amount of work that must have been put into this, along with letting us see different sides of Ame through all of them. i also think this game offers great insight into the world of content creation and a life behind the camera, from the duality of a creator and the way they hide their struggles in most cases, to the brutality of fans and haters and the impact that may have on a person. The internet can be such a scary place..... i still havent completed all the endings, but my favorite so far may just be internet overdose. uwogh,.... so peak........ I also love the inclusion of fanart in the twits and stuff, amazing art from so many different people, its so wonderful to see~!!!! All in all, its al...
This game made me realize that i might be into mentally unstable girls love it
It's tamagotchi-styled game where you sorta "take care" a character. You could also consider it more like raising sim game. Its over all pretty funny but it does start to get repetative after a few play throughs
