This game is NOT worth 15 dollars! The fighting, which I was most excited for, is extremely basic and feels turn based, meaning you need to wait for the right moment to attack them and its always the same interval, every fight feels identical and is super frustrating because even though you swing and attack you cannot do damage until the window to do so opens again, very disappointed. The movement feels weird as well especially the turning, there also seems no running mechanic in the game. the game should have been either free or tops 5 dollar

Oh boy. Let me give it to you straight. This game is genuinely awful. It's feels like an asset flip, and likely is. Most of the stuff they showed in the trailer, """IS""" in the game. And by is in game, I of course mean that you can do everything they can do, but most of it does nothing. You can't eat the pizza off the food carts, nor the hotdogs. The combat system has the NPC's dodging 4-5 hits before you can even hit them, to the point it's basically turn based. Oh and there is ONE area with an incredibly tiny amount to do, four "missions" and then you're done. Please, Do not buy this game, Do not support these developers. THIS IS THE SECOND TIME THEY HAVE PULLED THIS, They are turning into the new Digital Homicide at this rate, with godawful games that nobody in the sane mind should ever buy.

Refunded. Don't waste your time. This isn't a full game, nor would I say it's worth the title of "early access". There is a single fight mechanic. You stand there, wait for the other person to move, and then punch. Repeat. The side mini-games are worthless and are just variations of throwing stuff (which is a miserable experience itself). There is 1 map that is small, and a backpack you can't put anything in. The point of this game is to get you to buy it and hope that you're too lazy to go through the refund process.

DO NOT BUY THIS GAME This game is not fun at all, let me tell you why it is bad - The combat is terrible, the npcs dodge all of your hits and the blocking hardly works - The map is small - There is nothing to do, there are about 4 tasks and no variety within them - When walking around, npcs will fight you when not engaging with them so there is no escape - No running, you walk everywhere or bike (Which btw also has terrible mechanics) Once again, there is not much to do except fight using a terrible, defective, fighting system...repeat the same minigames over and over...or graffiti

Been a long time since a game has been able to keep my attention for long. Binged this game so hard. Loved every second of it. The combat system is out of the box and deserves a lot of praise. It's a lot of fun to mess around.

Some polish can help the game a lot, but what's there is already superb. Especially loved the immersiveness in all the activities.

Down and Out is the most fun VR brawler I have played in an absurdly long time. I don't know why developers stick to just shooting. Even Half-Life: Alyx didn't have any melee. WHY ARE YOU GUYS DOING THIS? Down and Out is a great example of it being done well - it can be done. The design of the game is very straightforward, but the nuance with which the simplistic mechanics are put into challenges is excellent. Must buy.

Amazing Game! Loved the overall graphics of the game and the setup. The Npcs look pretty cool especially the cop with that funny way of walking. A little bit of polishing is still left here and there, but I guess that will be fixed in future updates. I highly recommend to buy this game. Will not be disappointed. Being an avid gamer myself i loved the overall execution of quests in the game and will recommend it to all, to experience it themselves for sure.
