This isn't just a game. It's a goodbye letter you write trembling hands. The Walking Dead isn't just a game, it's an experience. Telltale took four seasons and stitched them together into a heartbreakingly beautiful journey. From season 1-4 you don't play as clementine. You raise her. You guide her, you fail her, you fight for her. And when it's all said and done, you sit in silence- because no game has ever earned your tears the way this one does. Every choice matters. Not because the world changes, but because you do. You'll remember every small decision years later like scars. You'll second guess decisions from season 1 while playing season 4. And when the credits roll, you'll feel the strange weight of love, loss, and time passed. This isn't just a stpry about zombies. It's about growing up in a broken world. It's about found family. it's about how surviving isn't the same as living- and how sometimes protecting someone means letting go. Play this...

🌟 Follow Ainsel Reviews - Curator for the weird & lovely 🌟 Telltale’s The Walking Dead remains one of the strongest narrative journeys in gaming. For me, Seasons One and Two are untouchable – Lee and Clem’s bond is still one of the most powerful stories I’ve ever experienced, and watching her grow through heartbreak and survival is unforgettable. The later arcs never hit quite as hard, but there’s still something deeply compelling about stepping back into this world. Even Michonne’s side story, while not as gripping, added another voice to the chorus. And as someone who loves the comics, I appreciate how this series captured that same raw, human tone the TV show never quite managed. It’s imperfect, yes, but it’s a rare thing: a series that stays with you. Clem’s journey proves that games can carry weight, emotion, and a sense of home in even the bleakest worlds.

I’m left staring at the screen in silence, trying to process the weight of everything this series has taken me through. This isn't just a game—it's an emotional rollercoaster that delivers one of the most powerful narratives I’ve ever experienced in gaming. From the very beginning, you're thrown into a world where survival demands impossible choices. And at the heart of that chaos is Lee—a flawed but deeply human character who, against all odds, becomes the protector and father figure of a little girl named Clementine. Watching their bond grow was one of the most moving experiences I've had in any medium, not just games. Lee didn’t just protect Clem. He taught her. He prepared her. And... he loved her like his own. And when that final moment came—if you know, you know—it shattered me. Even now, thinking about it brings a lump to my throat. But Clementine… she’s the soul of this series. Watching her grow from a scared little girl into a capable, fierce, and compassio...

This is a great collection! My review is only to bring to attention the documentary/behind the scenes videos that are part of the collection are not accessible anymore and it's unfortunate because I was looking forward to that the most.
TWD Season 1
Nostalgia rating 10, in actuality playing through it again season 1 is the weakest of all 4 seasons. Season 1 has the fewest choices that matter, the game arbitrarily forces you into contentious situations even when you make every possible diplomatic choice, and the gameplay feels clunky like the 2010 indie game that it is. The surprise twists are unforeseen and have impactful consequences. Nevertheless the Lee and Clementine dynamic is heartfelt and unforgettable, scoring Season 1 the 'must play' status and a 7.5/10.
TWD Season 2
The gameplay and UI are a good improvement over Season 1, and Season 2 revolves around larger character rosters so there are more surprise character deaths and meaningful choices. You don't feel arbitrarily forced into contentious situations when trying to play the diplomat unlike Season 1 which is great, and the introduction of faction politics is on brand for TWD. The contrast between Clementine in Season 1 Episode 5...

It is safe to say that this is the best game that i have ever played. Just finished the third season and it has been an emotional ride to say the least, from character development to characters dying. I have never found a game that gets you so attached to characters it honestly makes it feel like you are their in the moment. If you are debating on buying it do it, you will not regret it!!!

This is not just a story driven game, it’s one of the best games in my life. Each season is masterfully developed, from the plot, pacing, and themes to the character growth and more. For the first time, a story game made me feel every emotion tied to each character, especially Lee and Clementine. When Lee was gone, it was the first time I ever cried because of a game. Experiencing and witnessing Clementine’s growth throughout the seasons felt like watching a daughter grow up, at least from my perspective as a player. The choices often put players in difficult situations, especially when you want to shape the character in your own way. I was even a bit frustrated that many characters were sacrificed just to advance Clementine’s development. Even visually and in terms of voice acting, the game is incredibly impressive. It draws players deep into the characters’ situations when they’re happy, sad, laughing, or even in tense moments. I love Clementine and Lee. Keep tha...
