Tiny Traffic

[b]tiny traffic[/b] is yet another game jam entry (from the [i]gmtk game jam 2020[/i]) that got turned into a full game. it has you manipulating parts of the road to make sure every car reaches their destination safely, similarly to [url=https://steamcommunity.com/id/dohi64/recommended/1547340]puzzle car[/url], which came out at the same time. in this one you have to [b]place modifiers on interactable lighter tiles[/b] to turn them by 90 degrees, switch them with another, otherwise passive tile, or whatever. the play button advances [b]a single turn with all cars moving at the same time[/b], holding it makes things happen quicker. [b]the fast-forward button plays the whole thing out even faster, but there's no way of stopping it[/b], and oftentimes you'll have to change modifiers between turns so as not to explode any cars by running them into a wall or each other. they won't drive off the edge of the level though. Fun turn based puzzler, worth playing, well presented and good value.

44 levels (last one doesn't count as it's auto) of a turn based non timed, non limited moves puzzler. Click and drag arrows onto preset allowed boxes to change placement, orientation or block a car movement for a turn/s. The aim is to land each car on the checkered square - each car must have their own square. Lovely big graphics so even if your eyesight might not be great everything is clear and easy to see. There were no tedious or hard levels or super easy levels either most were just a nice mild challenge for a relaxing game. There were no keyboard controls everything is mouse movement including the reset button on screen. There is no undo button but I didn't really need it, it would have been nice to have but as the levels aren't long and quite contained the reset button was enough. Options are level select, sliders and resolution and windowed/fullscreen. I liked that in addition to the turn based play button, there is also a one hit button for cars to finish their routes ...

Lovely little puzzle game. Starts easy, gets a little tricky toward the end but nothing too hard. Game complete in 2 hours which is a little short, but still absolutely worth the £2 :) Would recommend for people looking for a calm puzzle game.

Good set of puzzles. Tiles can be modified but only using a limited set of modifier tiles. Some allow moving a tile one space in a particular direction, others turning the tile. but there are never more than 4 of them in a level so you have to use them wisely. No time limits. No undo but there is a level reset and the levels aren't huge. An undo would help but it's not a huge issue.

If you like comfy/chill puzzle games then I highly recommend giving this game a shot. It's a lot more challenging then it looks as well

Loved this game, it is quite short (can be won in an hour and a half) and not too difficult, but some levels will have you thinking a bit. The mechanics are just moving or rotating road parts in a grid, with some elements introduced as you progress. Recommended as a light puzzle game, but a great one
