I like this game. Breathing Fear is a retro/indie style spoopy exploration game. In this story, you're some poor soul who happens upon a haunted house and you need to explore every nook and cranny to discover all the secrets. My first run-through was about 30 minutes before I got myself killed haha. But for the time that I played it, I was completely sucked in. Plus, there are achievements so there is a bit of replay value. This little title is easily worth the asking price. Thumbs up. :)

User Reviews
intriguing plot and map held back by the tight requirements of the action sequences. not a fan of giving a thumbs down on an indie game, but i got critically stuck and that's no fun. i think either there is an unnecessary timer to the generator lifespan which can lead to a soft lock, or there's just not enough clarity on how to progress. i would've liked the game better also if you could choose to pick up and drop items off somehow - i got bottlenecked by too many flashlight batteries and it slowed down my progress, punishing me for finding fuel for my flashlight that i didn't need as my generator ran out. this is probably a good pick up if you're a fan of these types of games, but i'm very sensitive to soft locks that could be resolved via playtesting. if there's ever a patch or a guide posted showing that i just don't know what i'm talking about, then i'd be willing to flip my vote. hopefully we see more from this dev as i liked the idea overall.
It's a decent, well-made short horror game for a reasonable price with some cool gameplay mechanics, a nice little story and atmosphere. Though it can be pretty annoying since everything is so linear. Even if you know what where is the game won't let you do/have it unless you trigger it. Which is not really a problem if you play it for the first time, but try to get all the achievements, replaying the whole game with minimum choices for speedrunning and you end up like my play time.
Its fun to play. 9/10
