About This Game

Overview: This is a psychological thriller game set in the 1990's, you wake up in a strange house and must search the house for a way out, if that is how your story will end.

Environment

The game starts with a very short tutorial of the key mechanics, you will then approach the main house before being transported inside under mysterious circumstances. You will travel throughout the house, finding new rooms and events in order to find your way out. There will be some notes and special items along the way that will aid you in your escape, or not.

I'm trying to like this game but it needs a few quality of life changes before I can recommend it to other people for purchase. A graphical options menu would be great with a brightness or gamma slider because I honestly can't see a thing. All I hear is a bunch of people moaning and I already have poor eyesight so my eyes took a beating trying to play this. Actually having difficultly getting my eyes to focus after about an hour of this which is troubling to say the least. The journal is a little bit too vague. It says I have to find a way out. I think that is literally always the objective of every horror game ever, so I didn't really need a book to tell me that I needed to get out of there. What I did need, was a clue as to what the game actually wanted me to do next. Wandering in the dark straining my eyes wasn't fun at all. Crouching only lowers me about 4 inches from my standing position and I have no idea why it is even a mechanic. Picking up objects sometimes flings them se...

This is the first game I've seen in quite some time that's actually a straight up scam. The game is only 8 minutes long and DOES NOT match the screenshots or trailer. It's not in Early Access either so that's no excuse for the missing or cut content. It's also $6 right now and will be $8 when it moves to full price. The only possible reasonable explanation for what happened here is if they accidentally gave Steam an unbelievably early build of the game for release instead of the newer finished product. There are no VHS tapes, no lighter, etc. like what you see in all the screenshots. There were tons of scenes that are literally straight up missing from the game. I've never seen anything quite like this before on Steam and I've seen a lot of shady stuff. Unless something drastic happens, stay far away from this one. It's unfortunate, it actually looks decent in the trailer.

I don't know if it's scary, I couldn't see a thing. Sounds like a packed house of ghosts. Hilarious unintentional bugs like the 2D grandma in the bathroom is worth the price in laughs.

I played a version that was accidentally uploaded to Steam, which was later corrected by the developers. After playing the true version, I can say that I recommend this game. The game is very atmospheric and does well with it's sound design which had me on edge most of the playthrough both in the unfinished build and the final product. There were a few bugs I experienced but nothing gamebreaking. I got this on sale for $6 and spent about 90 minutes playing through the finished product. All in all a decent horror that didn't stretch out too long and become predictable.

Floating objects, buggy animations, consistent noises that make you numb after awhile. The scariest thing about this game is the amount of bugs that exist.

Piece of garbage. The only thing ok about this game is when you're walking toward the house, otherwise it is a glitched out mess. This game has the same old tired assets, poor and annoying sound, too dark and somehow my version didn't have toys scattered around the kid's room to collect in order to progress. Another piece of indie-horror trash.
