I've read that this is the DOS release of Apshai, which has some really bad bugs and is essentially unplayable. My review is just for the Apshai Trilogy games themselves regardless of platform. Given that these on Steam seem to be buggy ports, it might be best to seek out the earlier TRS-80, PET, or Apple II versions instead. This is a major classic in RPG history for home computer systems, first released in 1979, and had a major wow factor when it came out. That being said, it's unlikely to appeal to a modern audience. Game pace is slow and uses an arcane command set. Graphic quality varies between releases but all are pretty basic. There aren't tons of stats. You'll need to draw a map. Despite all this Temple of Apshai is a challenging game, and arguably was the finest 1979 had to offer in this genre.
