Interesting adapted story, beautiful and animated art, and great music. For fans of interactive novels and/or fans of the Romantic era! While some parts could be more polished, it faithfully and greatly adapts the epistolary novel that influenced the Romantic movement into game form with nice remixed music from the era and the classical paintings coming to life at a click from your mouse. The interactivity within the novel is restrained but never feels boring giving life to the drawing on display. Overall, would absolutely recommend this to anyone just to experience the life of the man presented to the audience. I can not wait for more from Mad Cream Games!

Painting Werther is a unique experience and the wait has been worth it. I've been hooked from the start. If you want to play a game with both beautiful visuals and music and are interested in the origins of romance as we know it today you MUST play this game.
