I've played over 374hrs of this game, at first holding off from giving it a review because you never know what could happen. Thankfully, I'm glad I did, at first when I heard about the game, I was stoked and beyond excited because it was everything I wanted in terms of an Asymmetrical horror game, that feeling of being the common horror stereotype trying to outwit something/someone that is so much more stronger than you in every way. When the game first released, I pumped in a good amount of hours, and even pre-ordered it as well, it becoming the first game I ever pre-ordered. Months later now down the line, I'm glad I waited so long before finally giving a review of this game because it is a complete buggy mess, not to mention most of the devs are extremely rude and passive aggressive, so much so that one of their own ended up leaving twitter after some controversy came out about something he said on their livestream. I would not recommend anything from GUN, at this point they are...

i really like the game but it has some big problems im only giving it a positive review because i want the game to get more attention and become better 1. TERRIBLE onboarding 2. the playerbase is tiny usually leading to really long matchmaking times 3. you wont find matches as a victim because nobody wants to play the family appearantly(i like them) 4. there is no offline/vs ai mode(which would help with the tiny playerbase) 5. the performance is mid 6. forced camera smoothing(just why) 7. there are a buncha small bugs like the camera acting weird during certain interactions which are annoying sometimes 8. INSANELY LONG CUTSCENES EVERYTIME YOU START OR END A MATCH i dont wanna see these anymore for the love of god if i could keep playing this game against bots OFFLINE AND WITH FULL PROGRESSION id be super happy

The game is dead. GUN dropped it and will no longer create new content or fix bugs. Don't waste your money.

the matchmaking is freaking horrible and the devs left the game in May of this year because they couldn't figure out how to balance the game and fix all the bugs? sounds to me that they're lazy and just wanted money from everyone smh

Was this game abandoned also?? JFC these developers are horrible. Here is what will happen, they will scale down resources devoted to this game, then eventually just stop selling it and terminate their backend services with absolutly no update to allow players to officially host their own server for private matches and run off into the wind leaving the hopes of keeping this game alive in the hands of hackers. happened to my favorite (F13) and not a single care in the world to put a local hosting ability in place at EOL. I get it, initially this is due to prevent cheating but dont let them die make that last change at the end and include the dedicated server app paired with the game. another money grab. we get it if these are single player games, but these only function with network connectivity so fix that shit so it doesnt need your official backend before you go! got to **** gun media.....
