About This Game

Decamped is a first-person puzzle adventure game that finds the character waking up to an overgrown desolate world. They must face their past in order to move forward and unravel the mystery of what happened in Deckner.

Explore different environments

From the suburbs to the downtown core, explore the different environments of Deckner and discover clues that may be crucial to understanding your past.

Solve environmental puzzles

The path forward isn't as simple as it seems. Throw items, find keys, and use the world to your advantage as you push onwards to finding answers.

Rich, visual heavy story

Why did everyone suddenly disappear? Why is the world overgrown? Is someone watching you? Decamped presents an interesting, heavy narrative that is told through visual cues in the world and dialogue.

This game was soooo glitchy. It broke so many times at almost every part. Luckily it has a reset feature but that doesn't reset everything every time. This game probably only has 20-30 minutes of gameplay but took me over an hour to completely finish. If you try to do anything before the game tells you to do it then it will break. Even after all of that I liked it. I don't know why. The story wasn't mind blowing or anything I just like it and wanted to finish the game. It's pretty cheap too so yeah I think I am going to recommend it even though it is a glitch fest. If you want to watch my play through you can check out the link below. https://youtu.be/YqrjKhIyzeU

Decamped marks an impressive debut by Sobek Games into the indie development scene. The story has an interesting hook and the world is beautifully crafted. I can't wait to see what this team has coming up next.

At the moment, I simply can't recommend this game> There are way toooooo many bugs. I love the idea of this game but it breaks down so easily. Even more improvements need to be don for this game. To get further in some parts I have to exit them game and then restart it ( on multiple times). I got confused with the house as the attic doesn't match the outside lol. I figure once the bugs are fixed this game will be better. Review at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeBBTpYymvc

I enjoyed playing Decamped, the game did a great job with the clean player/environment animations and the overall sound design aiding with the portrayal of an abandoned city! The story was interesting and the puzzles were good, not overly difficult. Experienced a few glitches in my playthrough but I'm sure the team will iron them out.

The games overall story was really intriguing had me wondering where the story would go with giving subtle hints here and there. Moreover, the environment was beautiful and the puzzles were fun to solve without being a hassle. With all being said its a little buggy but looking past that with the price the game is good for what it stands as.

full play through here: https://youtu.be/oLkDQmzslVQ Game dialogue is waaaaaaaaaaaay too quiet. The game is not terrible, but I don't think it's worth 4 bucks either the game is way too simple and the story doesn't really explain anything that is going on at all there's no resolution. The acrophobia achievement is glitched and doesn't pop. The puzzles are really simple and there's not much game play it's a very simplistic walking simulator with not a great story it's about average if it was a f2p game but for a 4 buck game it's below average. The best part of the game is how the environment looks

I like this game BUT !!!!!!!! It has so many glitches its not funny anymore . It also needs to save more often sick of having to go back to the subway,, after getting so far in to where you use the cars to get across the water. plus lots of other bugs along the way not impressed , its ruins what could be a great game .

At this point I cannot recommend this game. There are no controls in the menu. If there is an inventory, I couldn't find it. Areas that have issues, that I found (Spoilers) : The mouse is set way too high. The run around the trees was rather pointless. When you see the fellow on the other side of the gate the screen goes back and everything flickers. After blackout time, why face us toward town if there's no where to go, nothing to find and nothing to do but waste time? One door isn't even accessible due to an invisible wall 10 feet in front of it. You must break top and bottom of the door to get the note. Once you get the key, you can only access the Womens room and storage is still locked. I've walked every inch of the map, and found no other keys, the Womens room is empty except for an achievement meant to shame you. With no inventory, the bricks nor key you just got open storage, you can't cross water, and there is no way to proceed. There isn't even a strong story line or music...

Interesting story, beautiful environments, puzzles are well-thought out and story-related. I did not care for jumping across cars, though. That is more platforming than puzzle. Your character does verbalize what needs to be done, so it's virtually idiot-proof. I missed a few achievements, but will not play again due to the frustration of bugs/glitches impeding progress.
