If you saw "Couch-Coop Tower Defence" and wanted to jump right in, I don't blame you. I did too. This tower defence game has a good style, decent music and a cool concept.... that utterly fails in its delivery. ((TL;DR: There is a reason that 74% of players have played enough to pick their first gadget, but only 43% have finished the second area. This game drops it's players off a cliff with bad design choices.)) The levels have various gimmicks that add to the difficulty and instead of being fun and rewarding, just suck in different ways. A desert storm that changes the route the mobs take and leaves you dehydrated? (Go to the vending machine for water.) Sure, but why does the storm randomly destroy some of my towers (which may have been at max upgrade level?) It's not enjoyable, and the game substitutes these gimmicks in place of the depth and complexity you tend to see as you progress through a tower defence game.
