Physics based combat + all kinds of unique monsters (and of course dragons).
Unique Monsters
Each monster is totally unique. Different look. Different body structure. Different attack. Different experience.

Physics System
The physics in Monster Collector is very realistic. You can pull monster around (if they are not too big). You can punch monster away and they will get balance again from ground. You can grab monster and jump with them.
Slice System
You can use sword to slice monster apart from almost every body part. Slice legs ? yes you can . Slice head? yes you can. Slice body ? yest you can. Slice tail ? Yes you can.

Stab Slash system
Try to stab your monster on the wall. or just stab its sliced body part on the wall. Or even stab 3 monster all together. Use your imagination.

Tear system
Slice is cool. But how about tear monster apart with your bare hands? For some monster you can even tear them apart from their long nose.(Elephant? maybe)

Combine all these system with all the unique monsters together. The gameplays are endless. You can kill monsters in million ways. Just use your bloody imagination.
(More monsters are planed to add into the game)

I was expecting something in between Blade & Sorcery and Monster Hunter, but unfortunately it is neither. Game feels rushed, and looks like instead of pushing for quality, developers are pushing for quantity. For this to be a constructive review I will list the cons and pros: Cons: - Weapon handling is wonky, weapons are overweight, it doesn't feel good. B&S had the same problem but luckily they have introduced handling options that allow you to adjust the feeling of the weight, and actually make it fun. Also grips are weird. Spear being a thrusting weapon is probably the most fun for now. - Animations for monsters don't feel natural, they are way too rigid, more softness in moves would help a lot. Additionally there's a certain lack of attacks for a single monster, like 1 or 2 per one as I've witnessed. - For the monsters, weight is also a weird thing. Unless you're overweight, I don't think you can take down a dragon from the sky with your own body alone. - Lack of menu acces...

Very fun for having limited weapons and enemies. It would be great to see a steam workshop for this game.

i think this game has a lot of potential but i cant recommend it in its current state, its just too janky and lacking. I fully accept that this game could and may turn into something great and thats what im really hoping for, a shadow of the colossus type game in vr sounds like a great idea with all kinds of mythical creatures like hydras and elephant men and what have you but it still needs a lot of work. also i cant fathom why you'd make it so that when you try and ride a dragon you weigh it down so much that it can't take off

Monster collector is a great game with incredible battles the settings of the game are great and give to every people the best way to enjoy with or without gore and i enjoy a lot every battle , there is a great interaction between the enemies and us and we can catch parts of them and more there is three arena my favorite is the dungeon one there is one nice fire magic from fingers we can use and mutiple great weapons the enemies are various and all amazing from dragon to the giant spiders or elephant warrior and more after we fight a waves of the enemies the last enemies is a boss with a little bigger size and more health the other mode is a free mode where we can choose all the enemies we want fight in same time so you understand a great game and the developper listen the communauty and on their discord create poll for we can choose the next creatures to fight so i recommand a lot the game

It's fun for like 1 hour. After that you start realise that ''this is it''. There is NOTHING more to it! I think it is 9 different monsters (One being a fking human with a shield) and that's really it. There is no more content after that! There is no workshop for adding more monsters or weapons! And the ''boss'' fights in this game is beyond cheap and it smells blyat so bad. It is basically the normal monster but slightly bigger. That's it! He didn't even add more HP to the boss that you fight, It has THE SAME FKING HP THAT THE NORMAL MONSTER HAVE! You fking ID*OT! It all comes down to being a quick cash grab tech demo. Don't buy it and wait for something better like this to come out and let this piece of sh*t creator die out on steam. F*ck you and f*ck this game.

I wouldn't recommend this. The game itself has potential, but it suffers from a lack of polish, content, and quality of life features. Normally, I wouldn't write a review for a game while it's still in early access, but I'm pretty sure the game is dead, considering the last update was over a year ago. If a new update comes out I'll change my review to reflect it. addendum: I noticed recently that there's a discussion about the game calling it abandonware, and the developer said that he had some personal issues to work through, and may return to the game. as of the time though this was in April of 2022, so I would personally recommend that you check if there have been any recent updates before purchasing.

First off, this may be the scariest game in vr haha. Those spiders are very uncomfortable. By far the best part about this game is its unique and cool selection of enemies. It's clear the developers put a lot of time and effort into the different enemies. The spiders creep the hell out of me tbh, and when a snake popped up behind me I actually yelled. I feel the game needs to focus on improving the combat and player mechanics. It's not terrible, but i feel it falls behind other similar games in terms of smoothness and enjoyment. I never felt confident that the weapons would be where I wanted or I would be able to pick them up when i wanted. I know its unrealistic to be able to whip weapons around as fast as our hands can without much weight, but i found the hands to lag behind a bit which was disconcerting. For a game that is all about arena fighting, there needs to be more emphasis on making the player controls fun, especially since the enemies are already really cool and good. Al...

This will be the first VR game I actually recommend. Even if there is limited weapons and enemies I still enjoyed it. I do think the pricing a bit rich for the content you get but if the developer will keep updating the game with new content then its fine. There are performance issues that need to be addressed, when there is any type of magic involved like fire the fps dips to around 5fps and I need to restart the game. Im really happy with the physics except the jump and fall speed. Please create an option for faster speeds and also a sprint button. The AI seems a bit stupid and slow. I will try this game again when its more matured.
