gameplay is very fluent and very much like rivals 2. It has a unique shield system which I very much like, but I feel like the game doesnt have that much content to offer besides the overwhelming amount of asists. And since the release of the game in 2023, I have yet to find a reason to keep playing after. Maybe Ill check out the hatkid dlc, but ive yet to be interested in this game. One of the few positives I do have with this game though is that it does have workshop support

Okay hear me out. This concept, but instead of a smash brothers type game it's a Mario party type game. Like people can still make the characters like they do in this, but its a party game with dice rolling and minigames.

Stuff I like: its a very fun fighting game and the moves feel impactful, fluid, and they connect well together. its fairly casual and fun as well. the pixelart designs are excellent and so is the music. the movesets are also pretty good, though im about fifty-fifty on that. its a very fun fighting game for me to play, at least. stuff i kinda sorta dont like: ok obviously this game has been out for two years. this is something I didnt know when i first bought it and until i found out a few minutes before writing this review I'd been assuming it came out like, early this year or something. I dont know. the dev team is extremely small so there is that! all this really means is theres some worries about how much content we're going to get in the future and how fast that content will come. though I am looking forward to hat kid. but aside from the more meta worries about the potential future prospects for this game based on its current state and its release date, theres just the few mino...

A game greatly made to entertain and make fun of all the characters you can play, The assistants as well work well if you can manage to hit them :)

This game is awesome. I always hate when games are littered with a ton of lazy content, but this game isn't like that. It may not have much at the moment, but what it does have is passion. Every character, stage, and assist is carefully hand crafted with the most beautiful graphics I had ever seen. Everyone needs to buy this game, especially if you are A Hat In Time fan. If you love the music, which it is very good, I'd also recommend buying the soundtrack to support Team Fray.
